Something similar happened with the Chiapas conflict and the mexican air force.

This is our S-80A model, surely will be offered to Australia
Correct. Chad had to agree to only use the PC-9s for training as a replacement for the PC-7s.
So now that Chad used both the PC-7 and the PC-9 in an armed role and thus violated agreements twice, I dont think we will ever see PC-21 in Chad.
Well if they had the money for a Pc-9, they easily could get a south korean KTX-1, a Tucano/Super Tucano familiy, or even a K-8, that´s not a problem, the problem will be the maintenance.
armed reco? hey, the guy of the factory told us that it was an attack helo….damm
Next step, a section of Abrams
But the problem is only about the Mig-29´s, I don´t think they have any problem with the Sukhois, or the rest of the equipment, I don´t think that Algeria is going to break completely with Russia, a little of pressure to Mikoyan, that´s all.
The Marrocan switch to F-16s shows, that something is in motion in North Africa.
Moroccans fell in love with the F-16 back in the early nineties.
The Russians must be fuming!!
Not after the saudi deal….
The spanish AV-8B must have Penguin…(we bought it for the SH-60 and the AV-8B) but I never see one photo…
In a near future the spanish harrier will have IRIS-T…
1Saludo
No never, Penguin is only fitted for the Seahawks, not in the Harriers.
I know that norwegian F-16´s deploys Penguins, but in Spain only Seahawks.
Nice news, but what country? Unfortunately the link doesn’t work and the customer is not mentioned in the news text.
Spain, the only one country around the world that could pay 40 € millions for a couple of Cougars.

good old Dedalo/Cabot always was a special ship
With the Equatorial Guinea pics, now we know that they have at least a third Hind, and the supossed 4 Mig-23´s in Malabo are Su-25´s ¿4?, and the lonely An-32 is still in service.
Three days ago a group of 60 armed guys (with presidential guard uniforms) disembarqued in Bata and robbed three or four banks at the same time, that was like Tombstone…and after that they went to Cameroon waters in thir boats, at least one Hind appeared for the hunt, but run out of ammo, and the guys dissapeared in Cameroon.
I don´t think so, the other contender for this deal was Eurocopter with Caracal/Panther for the same role 4/4 helos. Super Lynx + Sea Skua a bad news for the moroccan fleet.
The announce of the possibility of the FC-1 for Algeria could be a pressure for Russia and the Mig-29´s but not the helo deal.
Spain had a big offer from France for join the Rafale project in the 80´s, but we prefered to stay with the other countries, at least one time, we had the correct option.
Spain bought the AMX-30 because Spain was banned to get the L7 105 mm gun, Leopard 1 was the chosen in that time, but with the ban about the 105 mm gun, we had two options, AMX-30 or AMX-30
(Because the option of Franco in Czechoslovakia getting some T-55´s was….was…unexistent)
Su-25 is updated in base of Kubinka, in ARZ 121.
These examples look like Eq. Guinea aircraft, I recon serials 031 and 032 were noted during August this year according to sources.

Las time i heard something about equatorial guinea, was that they had bought four Mig-23´s from Ucraine, nothing about Su-25´s from Russia
