New scheme for our Super Pumas, the new scheme is horrible for a unit based in Seville, southern Spain…in Estrasbourg…maybe…
I must do something with the other pics, they are toobig for the forum, ****
One of our Cougars in Afghanistan
In Spain we also operate Cougar versions, in the Army and the Air Force (VIP versions) white scheme, do you need some pics?
For me the Malawi helo looks more like a Puma or even like an Oryx, more than a Cougar, never saw those filters on Cougars before.
UN contracted a company (russian or ucranian) with Mi-8/17 helos, even spanish troops were deployed with that helos
[QUOTE=flex297]They are in splendid condition 😉 Just look at the pic below taken 2002.QUOTE]
No, that pic is one of the three Mirage V´s that Mobutu send to Chad in the eighties, this one crashed in N´Djamena, so the pic is about 20 years or even more.
A lot of life in some early 70´s Mirage´s? France still has some Mirage F-1EQ stored brand new, or some Mirage F-1CT transferred could be a good deal for Gabón, 20 cells for keep operational six or eight…at best….they had troubles with the manteinance of their bunch of Mirage´s…now, even more
Gabon tried to exchange their Mirage V´s for some egyptian Alpha Jets, and now they are getting 20 Mirage F-1AZ´s? but this planes are 30 years old or even more, yeah they are cheap, but too old
Last time i saw an ASA, wow, about 10 years ago, they were without gun
My problem is that we are paying 1.4 € billions for 24 helicopters, and the army selected Longbow Apaches.
And the external points are for about 100 kg is a joke in an AH, but at least aussies called him armed reco helicopter. And still waiting the integration of the new engine, the selection of a atgm, the new electronics…
Here´s the second Tiger HAP we get, our requested version….was HAD, but here we have this crappy underpowered thing without atgm´s….until our version will be ready…..
Two more pic. with weapons – sidewinders and sparrows, second – with rocket pods
Aspides, italian made, not Sparrows
The plane is one of our F-104G´s in Bardenas Reales shooting range, launching an Expal bomb, it looks like a BR-500, a 500 kg bomb, Expal has a collection of bombs exported all around (Turkey for example, Iraq in the old times…)
The first production batch includes confirmed orders for 253 aircraft (160 TTHs and 93 “NFH” naval versions), earmarked for France (27); Italy (116); Germany (80); the Netherlands (20); and Portugal (10). Other customers include Sweden (18); Finland (20); and Norway (14). The 350-aircraft backlog is worth $9 billion. In addition to this,Greece and Oman have also ordered the NH-90.So 11 countries when you count New Zealand and growing.
We ordered a first batch of 45 NH-90´s
We bought more than 100 Mirages (Mirage III, Mirage F-1) and now the EF-2000 finished with that line, we were a good customer of Dassault
You forgot Australia and Egypt.
