The most optimistic information is about 34 Mirages in Morocco, other sources says that only 28/29, some of them not airworthy, with the french upgrading. With one engine, it´s usual this rate in almost 30 years of service.
The guy cutted some throats in Iraq for his favourite TV channel, he planned bloody massacres all around, and he got what he deserved, a couple of Mk-82´s, with this fanatics there´s no possible dialogue, that´s all.

The best treatment against terrorists is a couple of MK-82´s, this is a great day.

At the time of that story of F-16 for the RMAF, do you remember the price of oil ?
Nothing because Libya hasn’t bought anything yet.
Don’t you find it consistent ?
Only one story for the Moroccan trials for get some second hand F-16´s? No, no, no, they tried the first time before than 1990….and sixteen years after…they have 0….
With their own money they are in eastern europe and China, getting, those second hand T-72´s, some brand new Tunguskas, trucks etc
With credits from some countries they are upgrading the Mirages F-1, the couple of Floreal OPV´s….
In the last three years, the french press also claimed the great interest of Algeria in getting some Leclercs (T-90) and the great interest of the AAF in the Rafale (Sukhoi 30), moroccan press claimed with the saudi donation of some F-16´s (…..) also the donation of some Apaches from Saudi Arabia (….) some F-5´s from the same country (….) and the spanish press said all that rumours, they even said that Morocco was trying to get some submarines in Yugoslavia…..this press is crap…
I’d love to see this too, but……
I think the mainstream French press have now delcared “possible” sales to Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Algeria and Tunisia. IIRC I think Libya has even been mentioned in passing, no doubt due to their Dassault heritage in the 1970s & 80s.
Let’s see what happens…..
Steve Rush
If Saudi Arabia rejected to pay a couple of dozens of AMARC F-16´s to Morocco…..now they are going to pay a dozen and a half of Rafales….?
French press said that libya was highly interested in french frigates, submarines, missiles, like Crotale !!!! and Mirage 2000-5……and nothing
Morocco tried to get some F-16 from the AMARC or ANG, and Saudi Arabia denied funds for that, now is going to pay for brand new Rafales? can´t belive that
And what about the Turkish-built 295 that crashed there?
Turkey is not an user of C-295´s.
Turkish assembly line quality controls were crap, we lost a CASA crew in one trial for that quality controls.
We received 20 CN-235 in 1989, and we keep that 20 planes in service, deployed in Afghanistan, Balkans, Indonesia, Central America, even in support of our Red Flag detachment.
How many G-222´s are still in active?
Uruguay has a nice webpage.
Chile bought 18 F-16 MLU from the Netherlands for 180 million dollars. So 10 + 18 for now
Colombia is highly interested in get some F-16 from the US, Argentina doesn´t know if they are interested in some Mirage 2000 (brazilian way) or some F-16, and nobody more can get that planes in the zone.
Uruguay can pay a simbolic price for the ships. Almost all their fleet is product of donations.
And if the F-16´s are of the second batch (ex usaf planes) i can´t see that almost 300 millions, because you can´t sell some 1969 vintage Pumas for a great price, and the first 19 F-16´s they received are in very good shape, can´t believe they are going to sell their best conserved planes.
Supposedly this Hinds are from Ukraine, and the crews aren´t nationals from Equatorial Guinea, Obiang also was interested in some Hips also from Ukraine, already are some but with civilian markings.
Next pics could be of the belgian Pandurs “gifted” to Equatorial Guinea….hehehe
A month ago, more or less, Finland bought 2 C-295 and options for 5 more.
The best way to go, it´s the finnish way (or the portuguese way, or the jordanian way, or the…), C-295….
