The best replacement for the Sioux could be the Ec-120, better for training (and cheapest) than the EC-135….or the Squirrels….

Aug Steyr, MAG, Minimi, LAV, Meko 200, SSS, NH-90, Unimog….almost all is common to both countries…except Manpads NZ with Mistral, Australia with Rbs-70

In the european elections of the last year, voted even less people than now (few but less) and now the people don´t care about, if my PM says that read the EU Constitution is a loss of time…..if they are paying stupid and ridiculous campaigns saying you don´t have to read the EU Constitution for vote yes…..sometimes with this goverment we feel like a third world country, more or less like Zimbabwe.

I don´t care about the US voters, or the french voters, the way of this referendum is a shame for my goverment, our foreign affairs minister is the Fan number 1 of Al Fatah, and we still have the separatist problems, but we don´t care, we have the EU for solve our problems…..

They need that stored swiss Hawks, very nice planes, cheap, almost new, and a 30 mm ADEN + 2 AIM-9 fits perfectly, no IFF, no RWR, very cheap and very good looking.

In Spain we have our own troubles, very serious troubles with separatists, but all the conservative voters (10 million voters) considered that the withdrawn fron Iraq was a coward act from the socialist goverment.

OT. Our PM is so stupid that he´s trying to speak with G.W.Bush since November…..a great man our OM, looks like Mr Bean

It’s so funny to read this… The only parts produced in US by Sikorsky are kinematics parts (rotor, transmission shaft, blades, etc). The all airframe is being produced by third companies all over the world (Embraer, AIDC,Gamesa, etc), as risk-shearing partners, that means they asume design and manufacturing of their part the project.
US101 airframe is supposed to be produced within lockheed facilities. Wich of the two projects has more “made in US” or even “designed in US” parts? Not so easy to answer…

Yeah very funny, the looser version is always the most interesting.

In the civil range S92 is getting more sales than the EH101, and in the military range the NH-90 it looks as an best seller

    And Sikorsky says.

    Statement on VXX Announcement

    Statement on VXX Announcement

    Jan. 28, 2005
    – STRATFORD, Conn. ? Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation received word today that its H-92 helicopter was not selected as the next Marine One helicopter. The company anticipates a full debrief on the Navy’s evaluation and analysis.

“Sikorsky and our All-American supplier team are disappointed with this outcome. We’re honored to have flown U.S. Presidents for nearly half a century and believe we put forward an exceptionally strong proposal to continue this tradition,” said Stephen N. Finger, president of Sikorsky Aircraft. “I want to extend my sincere thanks to all who worked so diligently. Everyone at Sikorsky Aircraft, as well as our partner companies across the country, should be proud of their efforts.

“I am confident in the future of the S-92,” Mr. Finger added. “Sikorsky is a growing company committed to providing our customers with outstanding quality and value. We are focused on doubling our business by 2008, with a portfolio of products and aftermarket services for military and commercial customers worldwide. We anticipate achieving this goal even absent the VXX.”

Published data shows that the S-92, the baseline version of the H-92, flies farther, flies faster and carries more than the EH-101. Independent data confirms that the S-92 is lower in cost and costs less to operate.

The Federal Aviation Administration and the European Aviation Safety Agency have certified the S-92 to a higher standard of safety than virtually every helicopter flying today, including the EH-101. Furthermore, since certification in December 2002, the S-92 and H-92 have won every other competition against the EH-101, including selection by the governments of Canada, Turkey, and Turkmenistan; Gulf Helicopters in Qatar; and CHC, the world’s largest offshore oil operator.

Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, based in Stratford, Conn., is a world leader in helicopter design, manufacturing and service. Sikorsky is a subsidiary of United Technologies Corporation (NYSE:UTX), of Hartford, Conn., which provides a broad range of high-technology products and support services to the aerospace and building systems industries.
