The second or third time that i heard this, but the last time were about 36 Mig-29.
They have problems for pay about 6/8 AMX-T…..and now 50 brand new Mig-29?
The austrian also have some very nice boats.
in the swiss lakes you can see some patrol boats.
Bolivia has even their Infanteria de Marina (Marines) some hospital ships and transports
I believe that now PZL is a part of CASA-EADS, and we here only have some crappy T-35 Pillán….this plane is very nice, is not an Tucano or an brand new Pilatus, but looks good.
When the deal of the C-295 some rumors talked about some W-3 Sokols for Spain, but the deal finished without that interesting helos
Spain has one LHD coming, not a carrier.
And Izar is offering a couple of LHD´s to Australia
Canada selected S-92 for their navy, they also sold a couple more to Turkmenistan AF for VIP tasks.
It´s far easy put “25 de Mayo” than “Veinticinco de Mayo”, and has a better spelling 😉
That Puma with the radar on the nose is just like the old Portuguese Pumas

16 Su-27
36 Mig-29
34 Mig-25
104 Mig-23
155 Mig-21
38 Su-24
32 Su-22
60 Mi-24
0 Flankers
0 Fitters
supposedly only 35 Fencers
much less than 100 Floggers

The frigate is the Neutrashimy or something like that, with an LPD?called Kaliningrad, they used our old flag, but this russians are good guys
Russians never forgot Nimrods….
I found this in a russian frigate on Cartagena (Spain), nobody forgets Nimrods 🙂
Second from left….
I remember we had one argentinean pilot in Spain, in just one day he crashed one C-101 against another C-101 in flight, at least both pilots were OK…they used to be in Spain for fly Mirage´s (both Mirage IIIEE and Mirage F-1CE/EE), after the Malvinas war they were interested in fly against our Harriers…
Some centroamerican pilots were also formed in Spain, at least i know one brazilian pilot in the Armada flying Sea Kings, and also some argentineans with Sea Kings
They dropped leaflets over La Habana..some weeks before the cubans prepared the ambush against the Cessnas, they appeared and used AAM´s without advertise shoots…for me it´s a shame
When castro arrived in 1958 in Cuba were about 4.000 persons in jails, now are more than 100.000 prisoners, but the population only is the twice than in 1958, this communists loves freedom….
In Spain you need a very good reason for shot to advertise a plane…a really good reason
