Argentina operated all that Daggers before than 1982, the replacement for all their looses in the Malvinas, were 23 Mirage IIICJ, ex-IDF/AF.

Then they operated Mirage IIIEA, -bought originally from France-, their Daggers were from Israel pre-1982, Mirage V -received from Perú in the war-, and the Mirage III CJ also from the IDF/AF

They are trying to get some ex-US F-16, since Lockheed Martin is established in Argentina, it could be a nice plane for them, some ex-ANG F-16´s could be a great replacement for all that Mirage III/5.

The original plan with the A-4AR was to get AIM-9L/M, AGM-65 and some GBU, but they only received some Sidewinder training rounds.

But now Chile will receive their 10 new F-16C/D Block 50……

Algeria has a nice air force but…70 Mig-29….the real number is less than 40, they lost a couple of Mig-29, one of them a UB in less than a year…..16 Su-27…. the real number is 0

If they get that 40/60 Mig-29SMT it could be nice for them but now…

Anyone knows the distribution of the EF-2000´s for country in every tranche?

    Germany has preference? UK?

    EF-18E…..a great designation for a plane…EF-2000 will be C.16

Spain wants/needs that 87 EF-2000, it´s our “star program” we have the money for the planes, we haven´t got any problems for our prefixed number of planes.

But we haven´t got enough money for replace our Mirages for Rafales….:D 😀

EF-18 will be our second line fighters replacing that Mirages and the EF-2000 will be our first line….

And soon we have to get that NH-90 with the two dozens of Tiger HCE helos…(I hate NH-90 helos :p :p :p :p )

    Nice pics

Great pics about the old Jaguar… a really good plane

I heard that in the mid 80´s Buccs + Pave Spike were working with Tornados + Paveway/Mk-13.

Of course their first operational use in the Tornados were in “Desert Storm” but the integration of LGB´s were in the eighties?

The first operational launch of Paveways in the RAF was that episode in the Falklands/Malvinas war in 1982… one Harrier Gr.Mk 3 launching a couple of Paveways.

O.T. Nigerian Jaguars had a nice scheme
