    carlisles is not definite as i believe their having trouble with the airports owners.

    The solway aviation museum at carlisle airport have been offered a nimrod, but say they have to persuade the airports owners to let them have it first. Have posted the link to the article below

    great pictures:o i believe xv423 and xv426 were scrapped not long after these photos and xv499 is the only phantom left at leeming possibly going to elvington in the future?. and xt914 is still at brampton though the base is rumoured to be closing in the near future

    damn shame about the phantoms:( lets hope some of the remaining survivors like the brampton and leeming ones dont meet the same fate

    lets hope the burecrats stop meddling and we can see a few more raf examples saved and in museums where they belong!
