This Thread has many aficionados and I guess everybody has a wish list, I was looking the Air Forces Directory of Flight International, that maybe was a little bit optimistic, but anyway I came up with this wish list (in alphabetical order)

    Azebaijan (Mig 21, Su 24, Su 25, Mil 24)
    Belarus (Su 25)
    Bhutan (Mi 8)
    Cape Verde (An 26)
    Central African Republic (Rallye Guerriere)
    Georgia (L 29)
    Abkhazia (Mig 21. Su 25, L 39, Mi 8)
    Guinea (Mi 24)
    Ivory Coast (Mig 23)
    Kazakhstan (MiG 25, Mig 31, Mig 29, SU 25, Su 27, Su 24, Su 25, Mi 24)
    Kyrgyzstan (Mi 24, L39)
    Mauritius (Alouette)
    Mozambique (Mi 24)
    Myanmar (Mig 29, F7
    North Korea (Su 25, L 39)
    Palestine (AB 212)
    Papua New Guinea (Mi 17)
    Sudan (Mig 23)
    Syria (Su 27)
    Tajikistan (Mi 8, Mi 24)
    Tanzania (Mig 29)
    Tunisia (G222)
    Turkmenistan (Mig 23, Mi 24, L39)
    Uganda (Mi 8)
    Uzbekistan (Su24, Su 27, Su 25, Mig 29, Mi 24)

    Zimbabwe (Mig 23)

I think I would be very lucky just to get the 10%

I think we can go from the late 40s to the early 90s. Mainly when the insignia were with the stars and not with the roundels

Unfortunately, in Italy we have lost almost all the memories of those atlantic crossing made by Balbo’s team. Those were called the “Trasvolate del Decennale” to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the fascist regime.

With all the bad things that the fascist regime brought to Italy we have erased everything of those years so for example the home base of the “Atlantici” which was the nickname of Balbo’s man that is in Orbetello near Livorno is abandoned and ruined while it could have been a museum

    And , what’s the point ?????

That is a colonialistic behaviour, that Ivorians lives are less valuable than Serbians

    That’s it

I am not saying it is wrong, furthermore it could be the only way to bring peace in that area because they are not mature yet, but it is a colonialistic behaviour

    Peace

I guess the US would have done the same thing: self defense.
If US schools would have been distroyed and looted , 9 soldiers killed, you think that the US would just sit on their butt?

As for the “colonialistic behaviour” , France has an official UN mandate to try to keep peace in Ivory coast. They don’t have any mandate to get killed without any riposte.

Back in Bosnia in the 90s the French and all the other Nations were under UN mandate but they never give such a rapid answer to the Serb action and sometimes they left them the door open, I am saying that is easier to attack and kill Ivorians soldiers then do the same in other part of the world

    Peace

Quite a colonialistic behaviour by the France, besides probably not wrong, I just wonder what happened if would have been the US to do it

It is quite the first time about CIV Su 25 and now they lost them all, I guess there were some mercenaries to fly them

Aermacchi bought Siai-Marchetti in the late 90s, so I think that the planse build from that date can be called Aermacchi
