Here are a Basler and a Squirrel from Malawi
I started this thread that has turned a little bit from its intention, anyway let me give my list
#1 France & UK ( Britain has not a valuable Air to Air force and the Rafale M will soon outstand the Harrier, but France does not have a good Strategic Transport and it cargo capabilities are overall poor)
# 3 Italy (It is not for patriottism but coz I think that except for AEW capabilities it is almost complete and fore sure 34 F16 are better then a lot of old Phantoms, that bring me to number 4)
# 4 Germany (I think of all european air forces is the one that still is linked to Cold War concept with a huge number of Tornados but without any CAS capability or Strategic Cargo, the plans for the future looks right with the Tigre, A400M and A310 MRTT and of course Taifun, but at the moment it is behind other air forces with smaller number but more complete)
# 5 Spain
# 6 Turkey
# 7 Greece
# 8 Sweden (It does what it is supposed to do but It does just one thing, a lot of fighters, but no CAS, no strategic transport, no air to air refuelling)
# 9 Netherlands (almost Same as Sweden)
# 10 Suisse (exactly like Sweden)
Here are Socata Guerrier from Senegal
I have wondered many times of which airforce this helos belong to ?
My first guess was North Korea but I am not sure about it
Could somebody help me ??
Yes, the AMX is inferior to the Su-25K, and even the Brazilian A-1M upgrade for it’s AMX is much inferior to the Su-39 or even the Scorpion. The Su-39 is quoted to be at 10mn, and the scorpion is quoted to be at a same price by the Tbilisi factory. The L-159 is a nice aircraft but it’s nowhere near the Su-39 in ANY way.
The AMX proved very good when it was needed in the balkans and after the first weeks of war it was choosen for CAS missions instead of british Harriers. Maybe it is expensive but you have to see airplanes in action and even if the Su 25 showed it a lot also the AMX does its job
In the November issue of AFM there were two interesting pics a MiG 27 from kazakhstan and a Su 25 from Congo DRC are there any scans available ??
I think that the Austrian government is makimg very smart moves in the defence: First they took refurbished EAF C130K, then they order a modern fighter such the Typhoon and the third the solution of the F5 as a stop gap is very brilliant
Force Aerienne Tunisienne
I wasn’t aware that Cote D’Ivoire had MiG 23 and Su 25, I thought the only fast jet they have is the Alpha Jet
Congo – Brazzaville
Mil Mi 26 & An 26

A Noratlas and a Hercules from Niger
