Sorry if this has been answered but im off to Japan on saturday with a friend and we both have psp’s are we able to use the wi-fi to have multi-player games in-flight? Ive read the Virgin Atlantic website and the section on using electricals in flight is not that clear!
I thought you’d never ask, of course ill marry you! 😀
A superb selection, Lance! I should be heading over the Pennines tomorrow so fingers crossed for good weather!
Paul

i did take over 550 so it may take a while!
Shamrock, yes i do work for SQ directly in Manchester.
Ill post the return trip later. However my VS LHR-NRT-LHR can be found here: http://www.britflyer.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=15161
Enjoy
Ill throw my opinion in recently flew in and out of JFK and fo rthe transfer to Manhatten we took a SuperShuttle bus and probably took 1hr30mins to Manhatten and 2hrs back the bus transfer companies have a simple and easy service, but the time depends on traffic and which drop off and pick up you are, costs were $17-21.
Yea herd about that but are the DL 757s not going to be used from JFK and not BOS?
Yeah i heard the 757’s may be going from jfk if so cant see them coming to MAN when the 764 is doing that job! Hope they do send a 757 over from BOS would result in DL having a good size operation out of MAN!
thats such a shame, especially if the route was performing well! who would be a replacement? Delta possibly? who else could run it?
Thats hilarious!
(man pointing) See that there is my dignity, i said id never be caught in a bright yellow jacket!
Yeah ive seen a B743 nocking aorund MAN with Travel City Direct.com down the side and XL.com on the tail, will this operate in addition to the existing TCDB744 or instead of?
Excel are definatly ramping their ops in MAN up we have no end of trainer trolly dollies going past our office here!
Yeha too right, im sure the airport and Airbus would make an announcement if the A380 was to come!
Even so its a mighty impressive machine!
Was on the roof of SQ head office in London and saw the A380 come in, very impressive cant wait to see it grace our skies.
I know its not strictly to do with this thread but people on airliners are saying the A380 is rumoured to visit Manchester this saturday for runway and taxiway trials. Obviously take that with a pinch of salt! 🙂
Most visited UK airport: MAN (for 23 years of my life and work there, so lost count!)
Most visited foreign airport: Has to be MCO.
Scariest moment on a flight: Probably on a couple of short hops down to LHR in turbulance, nothing too crazy!
Most memorable moment on a flight: Always the take off, especially in any A330 such a graceful/powerful aircraft.
Best airline meal/what it was: VS definatly think I had a shepherds pie!
Worst airport visited: Omaha, Nebraska, my flight DEN-ORD was changed to DEN-OMA-ORD and bad weather forced us to delay in Omaha, absolutely nothing to do for 2hrs.
What about the best and worst airlines people have flown? Best would have to be a three way tie between VS/US/BD. VS for the inflight service/US for AVOD and i love how sleek the A333 looks/BD for inflight cameras and one of the best liveries around!
Worst airline would have to be Laker Airways DC-10 MAN-MCO crampt stuffy and boring!
Most flown type: B747 All VS
Most flown airline: VS (5 times) BD (twice)
Most flown route: MAN-MCO (Direct with VS plus 3 times indirect (DL via ATL, BD via IAD, US via PHL)
Currently booked flight that you’re most looking forward to: DL155 MAN-JFK (B764 new type for me)
Cheapest ever return fare (including taxes, charges etc): hmmm maybe £350ish BD MAN-ORD-DEN return.
Hi
As confirmed by another drive past T3 this morning, the AA55 to ORD was next to the BD A330 which was again at the very end of the terminal opposite alpha, and the AA95 to BOS looked to be a gate or two further down, and the BA1503 looked to be parked in its usual place towards the centre of the terminal where it curves out towards the runway.
Hope that helps again!
