I strongly oppose against that proposal/view.
People under thirteen are already required to have parental permision beofre posting. Its innappropriate to have age eighteen as the min joining age permitted. That would lead to MANY pre-teens and teens being untruthful about their age. A dishonest forum is as good as no forum.

I disagree. We have many teens here who give feedback in threads constructivley – green320, wannabe pilot just to name a remote amount. An age restiction would just narrow the variety of opinion we get here and make the forum rather dull.
