Health and Wealth both sadly lacking 🙂
I wish a speedy return of both to you.

Thankfully they didn’t get into the workshop proper as our extensive security stopped them going further:rolleyes:
John
Was it four 0.303’s in an FN4? That should stop anyone in their tracks!

I am working both days this weekend, and live 700 miles away so cant just comeby in my lunch break!
Nah, sorry, poor excuse 😉

I love Legends and am sad I missed it, but I also love my 84-year old grandfather who was getting married today, and am totally glad I went to this instead. At any rate, the Fury won’t have flown yet…
Wonderfull! Congrats to him…another good excuse to miss Legends…keep ’em coming.

Working on Stirling bits Daniel:D
THE BEST EXCUSE OF ALL!:D
Not helped by the fact that we had an attempted break in to our workshop:mad:
John
Oh no – that’s terrible. I hope nothing went astray?
ds
Thanks – knowing others can go tomorrow makes me feel so much better…..!

kev 35 – A highly laudable excuse – you are to be congratulated on your sacrifice. I have been there (to a small extent) myself and know what it is like.

What an amazing sight and sound – beautiful aircraft in a stunning location. It almost looks unreal. I have an rc simulation that uses photorealistic backgrounds, and this almost could be one of them, it is just perfect!
ds
Why would the RAF Museum want a Sturmovik. The RAF never flew them or barring Korea ever fought against them. Let the russians keep their junk and give us our Stirling back 🙂
John
Here here!!

Sorry, I’ll be working. I have noticed a few Bedfordshire-located forumites – perhaps an evening re-run if there was enough interest?
ds
(snip)….. I am very isolated in South America and it can be a hard grind at times with the complete absence of Tetleys and Baked Beans.
Mike
But you know we are with you in spirit Mike!! :):)
daniel
I’m kind of local as well – can we have an address and timings please!
ds
This rasies a point that, my niaive, London-centric brain finds difficult to understand – but how on Earth do you service and repair a classic jet in a location so far from the UK?
I also wonder about that when I hear clever people are restoring Spitfires in the mid-USA etc. Is it as simple as DHL:confused:
ds
How much is the looming conflict with Iran going to cost?
Everyone 🙁
