My buddy ordered one, and when he saw that the waitress was only using half the can of Red Bull to make the drink he asked if he could have the rest. βThis stuff is $4.25 a can, so unless you want to order another drink the answer is NOβ. $4.25 is more expensive than a nice pint of beer, and about the same as a fairly decent whiskey. These Red Bull guys have definitely got something figured out.
Of course, as Mk. 12 would say, you donβt see people our age drinking the stuff. Well, maybe I did have one.
This is what is also known as ‘marketing’ π
Spray it purple with yellow dots; just get it up in the air!
Jeez these quizzes here get harder by the day. Now we have to have X- ray eyes?
I give up…:D
From my experience with Amodel kits, you’ll need buckets of patience and a little luck Bert!
haha, you’re right! The stuff looks like made out of melted plastic waste or something. You can actually see how the plastic entered the mould and how it filled up.
But it’s nice to have a modelling challenge. Any pic of your results?
Thanks you all for interesting thread. Pity it never flew, but i’ll build the thing on scale anyway π
See what I mean? Internet says proto destroyed, others say not even mockup built. Sure. Distiller, keep it pouring. It’s a fascinating subject.
Type ‘Bf-109 Zwilling’ into Google.
Dave
I know I can Google Dave, but then I would never get the in depth info and ever intriguing synergy of similar oriented aviation buffs milling their minds over such questions. π
Google is usually only one noselength deep insight, and internet is 75% full of crap anyway.
probably a A8
Dont know anything about the BMW engine.
Gun cowling is on the ground in front. The F models had sidebulges on the cowling. This has none.
No bombracks, no armour plated glasspanel as on the Sturmbocks A8 R7 and A8R8,
So regular A8, although it has chevron markings indicating a higher ranking pilot.
And what that thing in the back? If nose is down it looks miles-ish, if nose is up looks Avia biplanish..
Gawd, i love these kinda pics… π
Anymore in that stack?
Excellent Distiller, Glad to see you’re using all that talent that’s on loan π
German Bomb names
Triggers a question I have been wondering about a bit lately.
What does the acronym SC stand for in German bomb coding?
Ahh what a treat for the eyes.
Look at those curvatures..
Some ladies would die to have a waist and curves like the old bucc.. π
The Boeing 747 first flew in 1969, and the majority of Boeing discussions is still held in the commercial forum! π The solution might be to stick it in a museum Daz π π π
Actually, the Aviodrome museum in Lelystad, the Netherlands, has just received it’s Boeing 747 Louis Bleriot after a epic transport through the streets and waterways.
Even fully stripped, the thing was considered too heavy on a too short runway.
It was transported as fusealge only, tail removed, and wings on tailers.
One of my relatives saw the fuselage being on the ponton from a distance, looking like ditched, thought it was plane crash, raced over while calling emergency services and got a speeding ticket while on her way π π π

Cop’s response, “sure ma’m, the best excuse we heard lately, but we’re giving you the ticket anyway” π π π

The attachment was too big at first..but now it’s probably horrible to look at.. π
Great plane for a cocaine run from colombia to miami with those travelpods π
Beats the coastguard any day!
The ANG on alert will be a bigger problem, and they dont pull you over to the side to ask for ID first either these days:D
It’s a Hudson VI, ex 42-6651. Probably delivered summer 1942. Late for a Hurricane to have a Watts propeller, I would have thought.
How much though I wish this would be the clue to Dutch Hurri mystery, I have to agree with your comments and conclude it’s unlikely:-(
