A few of my shots from the show (More in the airshow photography section God willing)

A thoroughly enjoyable show, hats off to all those who enable it to happen, from administration to the pilots who put on a great display!
I’ll be wearing my camouflaged side satchel probably with sergeants stripes on the bit under the carrying strap thing. Not much to go on, but there it is xD
Assuming you mean the accident
It is mentioned, and would you rather they show large sized image of the aircraft plummeting to the ground or fiery wreckage like other media has shown?!!!
I’ll admit it is only a footnote, but as far as I recall it has been the same for every other accident involving historic display aircraft.
It is not something that everyone has to see again, I thought it was tasteful myself.
“This wasn’t quite what I had in mind when I booked those so called value tickets!”
‘If the Vulcan dips some fuel…never mind
If the Vulcan drips some fuel…never mind
If it drips upon the crowd
We’ll still cheer it on quite loud
If the vulcan drips some fuel…never mind’
I’m going, taking lots of pictures, especially for my friend who can’t attend
Thanks for those kind words.
I just wonder how I could start a conversation, if I did happen to see a lass who catches my eye. I’ve seen some pretty ones before but i’ve never decided how to break the ice so to speak
Ah yes, I have thought of this, but then it is rather difficult just suddenly striking up conversation with a stranger is it not? especially if you aren’t the most outgoing person there ever was
I think they have too many Spitfires on the basis of those photographs!
You can never have too many Spitfires, as someone once said xD
There wouldn’t be any images of him or his aircraft, in existence would there?
Thanks much, I replied to the PM.
I wonder if I can find any more info on Gunther and his ‘110 (and his crew)
So is it Gerhard Friedrich for sure?
Interesting, further down it says “23-Jun-43 Gerhard Friedrich Stab /NJG1 Halifax 5700m 01.40 2km E Xanten” ?!
So, we have a pilot who can’t decide which unit to fly with? xD
By the way Crash site is at Bronsbergen aan de IJssel, near Warnsveld, just south of Zutphen.
