It is a bit off what they’ve done. They could at least have got the markings right….
They should’ve at least left some bits in their original state with the faded paintwork. Oh, and put it inside so it doesn’t get ravaged by the sun further.
Sorry for the late reply, but thank you for that information. It will be great to see them finished in the next few years if the promptness of the Twochun restoration is anything to go by!
Thank goodness they were kept in storage safely for all that time, no doubt has preserved them well.
Looks brilliant, even without the original canopy, and the markings look very tidy!
It’s good to see they’ve kept the ‘nose gun’ style spinner. Why didn’t they do that with G-AWHK at Dux? Always wondered that.
I think it looks great, certainly looks the part.
Although the canopy Perspex and wheels look a little too clean from that distance.
Brilliant job though!
I’ve not heard of them before?
Does anyone have any information about them?
Latest News on the newly titled: ‘Tragedy in Training: The crash of L7575’
Just an update to say that I am currently working on getting permission to film in the Lanc cockpit at Pitstone (Thanks G-ASEA for that idea) and ‘Just Jane’ at East Kirkby.
The script is coming along well with most of it written/typed.
I am currently working on a model Lancaster for filming, may have to get another couple as spares:

Also secured a WW2 air ministry map of Hertfordshire of Ebay, which will make a good prop.
Biggest challenges now include casting for the dramatic re-enactment segments, and finding the uniforms and also flight gear for the 7 airmen. Currently looking around the re-enactors pages on facebook.
Thank you kindly, I got your email.
Fournier Boy – perhaps, but an answer out of courtesy, even to say ‘sorry you can’t film in it’ would be nice.
Moggy – yes money is an issue, as a student I don’t earn much so maybe that’s the issue.
Same reason I am having issue obtaining stock/archive footage!
The Moorabbin Beaufighter looks well cared for, but it’s too far away unfortunately. Thanks anyhow
I emailed them a while back, but got nothing back. I thought asking a volunteer here might be more direct.
Besides, I thought asking on here might provide other options if the TFC one was off limits.
The Midland one looks good, very well restored. But the downside of that is, they probably wouldn’t want people going in it, I note it has a big perspex/glass sheet in front of it in the picture on the website.
I’m not sure about either.
The East Fortune one looks in a rather disassembled state from the pictures there are.
I thought of that, but I doubt they’d let any filming take place in it, especially with the asbestos present etc.
I don’t think the RAF Museum allows filming in any of their planes?
I tried to film with their Heinkel 111 once and was flatly refused permission.
I think the Spitfire Mk Ia is my favourite, hands down, second place I think the Mk IXc
Ah thanks!
I’ll have a look at their website .
Trying to find uniforms for possible dramatic reconstructions.
Any suggestions?
The biggest problems are trying to find mae wests Flying Boots, goggles, and C type Helmets that are able to be hired.
Also unsure where to get an RAAF uniform like Pilot Officer Ewan Taylor would’ve worn.
Furthermore as a side note, does anyone know anyone who owns a Lanc cockpit?
