Indeed 777 They are pretty damn great, I miss the smokey old G2 though! Italy should throw up some nice aircraft for you to see.

Nice shoots again Giancarlo. You can probably guess my fav in this batch. I worked for Monarch at LGW, for the summer in ’83, the livery was very different then, and not a single Airbus to be seen;) I don’t like that new scheme very much, but then, most of todays liveries leave me cold;)

My first interest in aviation was little me sitting in the old LTN spectators building when the only thing operating in and out of Luton were the Monarch/Britannia 757s. Since around 1993 everyday Monarchs roring over my house the unique sound of those 757 engines they have always been my fav airline. I didnt really dig the modern livery just before this one as i preferred the cheatlines but what they have done now is just cheapen it all for me. Especially with the really lame slogan at the end. Ah well.. like you say, Liveries have gotten steadily bland.
