That won’t happen. It was massed public opinion that got his murder sentence overturned. That same opinion will keep him out of jail – unless he does something extremely stupid.
The story I have is that he was indiscreet enough to say to some newspaper snitch that there were plenty of illegally held weapons swanning around in England. This was enough for Plod. They descended like flies around a fresh turd.
It wasn’t public opinion that got him off the murder charge, it was clever lawyers.
I wouldn’t be upset if he got himself back in jail through his own stupidity, and I would salute ‘Plod’ for doing so

Since his defence in getting let off the murder charge was on the grounds of diminished responsibility, presumably he is not allowed to own any firearm as a result. Consequently any firearm in his possession would be illegal.

You are entirely correct. I should have written ” your own unfortunately ill-informed view of the world” but I didn’t want to cause too much offence.
But since you asked……
It does put a wry smile on my face when those who are perhaps of a more right leaning persuasion can assume anyone who challenges their belief systems must be of the hard left.

I can honestly say, hand on heart, that I have never even glanced at the cover of the publication you mention, let alone picked it up or contributed to it.
Yet again, you are making assumptions based on your own view of the world.

What is this daily shirker of which you speak?
Is it a euphemism for your average Daily Mail reader?

It does show communication between CAA and the maintenance organisation was not as effective as it perhaps could have been as shown by the safety recommendations. Easy in hindsight…… But I guess that is what the AAIB investigations are all about
Shock! Horror!

Some things on a notional list are eminently achievable e.g. visit the Vasa in Sweden
Others are achievable with some degree of difficulty/expense e.g. Visit Patagonia
Yet more are not likely to be achieved so are simply pipedreams e.g. Fly as a passenger in a rotary powered WW 1 aircraft
