I know they are not as anti-gun lobbyists have never challenged their facts, even when their facts disproved the anti-gun lobby statements.

The NRA uses numbers derived from Federal, State and local government agencies, if they are wrong, the governments are lying.

Same for the GOA, Gun Owners of America, organization. Their facts are never publically challenged either.
For years the big new sources did not even mention the GOA but now they are sometimes mentioned also in news reports on firearm rights.

dream on.

spewing facts that are bs lies affecting public opinions

and you think that the NRA and the gun lobbies are not doing the same?

this year there 29 mass killings and of those 22 were shootings.

Even if we accept this definition is true- are you content that there is one every two weeks on average?!?

if the same happened in the UK per head of population we would have had between four and five mass shootings this year. How many have we had?

Answer- none since 2010, three since 1987

All you see is your opinion and it appears to be pixilated.

I assume this comment was intended to be ironic?

If not, have you heard the quaint expression about pots and kettles?

Then why did you bother to put down your information, even though it may be wrong?

One can argue statistics on gun ownership till blue in the face. You like one set of figures because you want to believe them.
But what I still can’t get past is the murder rates as laid out in official statistics. You are more likely to die by a firearm in the US than in the UK by multiple factors of ten and much more likely to be murdered by a firearm. This cannot be disputed however the figures are skewed by either lobby.
Also undisputed is the fact that there are many more firearms in private possession in the US-one can dispute the actual numbers, but again it is by a factor of many tens.

You don’t wish to see any correlation between these pieces of information. Most others can see the connection.

The difference between us is that you believe you are right, whilst……..

Re: the NHS

My personal experience is that the care in our local Spire private hospital is no better in any way than the NHS hospital 2 miles away and worse in some. Also it depends if you are talking about planned care or emergency- in the UK everyone goes to NHS hospitals for emergency cover- even Sam Cam went to an NHS hospital for emergency delivery of her baby

A steady improvement for Nigel. It must hurt in certain quarters.

The only people hurting are in UKIPand Tory Central. Even the deputy of UKIP said that they were beaten easily without any ‘bent’ postal votes. It’s just Nige ranting, again

We have certain areas in most of our Cities that even armed Police won’t, or dare not go down, some of the perps in said Cities carry guns and knives as routinely as you and I carry small change in our pockets

What evidence do you have for this assertion? The armed police part specifically.

Other than the Daily Mail of course
