Another interesting snippet in the Del.Tel/Torygraph
    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/11828053/David-Cameron-appoints-new-Lords-live.html

I think one of the tweets in the piece says it all:

Hogg peerage is two fingers to the people, who are still outraged by the expenses scandal. @David_Cameron hasn’t learned anything, has he?
    — Wes Streeting MP (@wesstreeting) August 27, 2015

    Edit:
Another appointed stands out as astonishing to me:
    David Willetts-two brains a peer? Bl**dy nora
On the positive side, good to see both Ming Campbell and Alan Beith continue to (hopefully) keep justice and business legisltation under some effective scrutiny

Something else for IDS to be proud of?

    http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/over-4000-people-have-died-soon-after-being-found-fit-to-work-by-the-dwps-benefit-tests-10474474.html

Along with the DWP putting out false case histories of claimants on it’s website (although the latter he blamed on his staff).

Seems he has a problem with either recognising or telling the truth in parliament (again)

    Tony T,

    100% behind you on this.

Kos is another example. So called immigrants pass into Turkey (safe haven!) then expect the Greek government in Kos to welcome them and allow direct passage to the UK. This is not how the international law stands but I can understand the migrants wishes.

As usual; beware what you wish for!

It appears you are suggesting that ALL of those landing on Kos wish to end up in UK is to fly in the face of statistics and reason. As has been shown by the mass exodus across Macedonia ( by the way Tony, the Macedonians seem to have lost their appendages don’t they) they are heading for Germany or Sweden.

    Nope, still not convinced, sorry…..

Should explain, I think the simplistic part is your lack of distinction between genuine refugees and economic migrants. Many people from african counties qualify for refugee status under EU and UN conventions so to return All of them would be impossible

Greenie, I don’t feel crowded away from organised events for the most part. I don’t often visit large cities as I feel claustrophobic but this has been the case since I was small and also means I don’t like being in lifts even on my own for example, but to suggest that immigration at the current level will make everywhere in the UK be like Duxford’s Tank Bank on airshow day is ludicrous, as I am sure you are aware.

Oh, I have just realised you were trying to make an amusing remark. Bless

I see from other sites you have already found the following which may also help others in pointing you in the right direction:
He was a flying officer W.Op/nav at 60 OTU
His aircaft came down in Lyneal Woods, ellesmere Shropshire. You understand from your mother the aircraft blew up
