My post has been addressed to ther member with a nickname mig-31bm. ROFL Looks like someone forgot to change his twink account. 😀
i said that because you said “talking for everyone is the first sight of troll”
my previous post #3596 was ” When everyone is disagreed with you, then you probably should stop for a second and think , that all i gonna say” so I thought you address me
Feel free to check, i didn’t edit that post
LOL, i said – SHOW them. Not make excuses.
Talking for “everyone” isthe first sign of troll.
So you gave a bunch of baseless, source less assumption, demand to see classified experiments done by LM and US government, calling name and insult anyone disagree with you but iam the troll?
Look like we have another one person who didn’t get the context. Irony, yeah…
When everyone is disagreed with you, then you probably should stop for a second and think , that all i gonna say
” was that the RAM used on B-2 ? “
YES, it WAS.” was there any RAS involed ?”
YES, it WAS..
You have the actual coating scheme of B-2?! Then share it with us. Coz otherwise you can’t say if Sukharevsky’s group was wrong or right in their assumtions about RAM/RAS.
Saying that someone “can’t win” just because you like to think so is even more childish. You’re obviously trolling and constantly bring Strawman arguments. That’s a fact.
:p
This is getting too desperate and ironic , you should stop bro
This thread has become a pissing contest again. People simply try to talk down the fighters they dont like, and talk up the fighters they like. No technical evidence for anything whatsoever. If this thread was “Yeager said Rafale is a waste of money”, or “Sprey said Sukhoi are a waste of money” iam sure that we will see Nicolas and logical1 trying to defense it and say Yeager, Sprey ar3 too old and dont have any classifieds information
Today, you do not have to worry about getting 25 or 75 kilo shift in CG.
Any modern FCS will compensate for this trough its FBW.How do you suppose the Sukhoi dealt with the Irbis-E on Su-35S which is way lighter vs BARS.
And add to that, each 117S engine is 75-100kg heavier vs AL-31FP; Su-35S =/= Su-30SM.
You still have to do loads of flight test and stress test though and then the change in bolts , screws , thickness and a different manufacturing process would be a maintainance and logistics nightmare. While it should be possible in theory , i dont think they would do that in reality
I dont think that material used for a single design would change over time, change in material would change alot of things such as center of gravity, stress distribution, thickness, even the ways you put the aircraft together would be very different, metal required different kind of screws, bolts from composite material.. etc so on and so on. It would require alot of effort, may be even to the point that you will have to do all flights testing over again. To much effort for too minimum gain, unless you design a total new aircraft the material will likely to stay the same ( or at least stayed 99.999% the same, minus extra stuff like RAM)
So i just tweak the display of the website abit , changed some pictures to gif so that it look better , but iam abit worried that it may take too long to load , so can someone try and tell me if the front pages load speed is acceptable ? https://basicsaboutaerodynamicsandavionics.wordpress.com/
Like loke said, it looks great, the gif load a little bit slow at first, but all web browser have cache so it wouldn’t be a problem in my opinion. But if you still concerned about the load speed then you can convert them to gifv instead of gif, reduce files size dramatically.Alternatively, you can convert them to BPG
and you will have your answer on polarization there.

Wow, that some great memory you got:highly_amused:
I found that website recently too. Article go from the most basic to very advance but all information are explained in an easy to understand way, and he has a reference list as well. Needless to say it is the best source of unbiased information that i have seen to date.It such a shame that this website isn’t nearly as popular as these BS blog from Picard and the like.
JSR is so desperate for attention lol
Then why horizontal mesh should block vertically polarized wave.
This is electromagnetic wave. Not mechanical one.
Because various different sources that i have found suggest the same thing for polarization of wave in visible spectrum (which is also electromagnetic wave ) , and it also make more sense that the wire mesh would block wave that vibrate perendicular to it
The device used to make polarized light in modern microscopes is a Polaroid, a trade name for a plastic film made by the Polaroid Corporation. A Polaroid consists of long-chain organic molecules that are aligned in one direction an placed in a plastic sheet. They are placed close enough to form a closely spaced linear grid, that allows the passage of light vibrating only in the same direction as the grid. Light vibrating in all other directions is absorbed. Such a device is also called a polarizer.

related to wire mesh.that wire mesh is used to convert linearly polarized wave (vertical or horizontal) into circular polarization
Is it possible to make a mess that can transform vertical polarization to horizontal one ?
One type of radar, the 5N63 for S-300 took advantage of it by actually transmit and receive different polarization.
How is that possible ?
and btw i read about cross polarization here http://www.radartutorial.eu/06.antennas/Cassegrain%20Antenna.en.html ,one thing i dont understand is how can the vertical polarized wave pass through horizontally oriented metal grid ??? shouldnt the horizontal wire block vertical polarized wave ? (same principal with mechanical wave ) did they made some mistake or did i misunderstood it somewhere ?
Guys ,related question: why polarization is important for radar ? iam not talking about specific kind but logically speaking , wouldn’t the polarization filter reduce the output of the radar and reduce the minimum level of echo that it can receive ? and if radar can only transmit/receive wave polarizated in one plane ,what will happen if there is a 45 degree wire mess on target ? ( since it change the polarize plane of the reflection)
Well the simplest formula one can find is :
G=30000/Hb*Vb
Where Hb is Horizontal beamwidth and Vb is Vertical Beamwidth. In Degrees.
Other books may give different constant like 26000 (Skolnik) or 23750 (Ingo Harre’s website) The beamwidth should be given in radians if these values are used.
To find beamwidth. You can use following formula :
Bw=K*Lambda/Ad
Where K is factor to account antenna illumination tapering factor.
0.886 is for parabolic antenna with no illumination tapering.
1.25 is typical for fighter aircraft antenna with Taylor -40Db. slotted planar array and may also apply on Phased array..
sholdnt the value for slotted array lower than value for Phased array ? ( AFAIK , Phased array can prodce smaller beamwidth )
