    for adduction, in France we have the old tank “ondee” from 1935, just recently decomissioned

    funy story, this steam boat have made secret missions and supply nuclear-quality water for the french SNLE, when the base “Ile Longue” was short of

    and by the way, French Navy still have 4 sailing ship:

    “Etoile” and “Belle Poule” 1932

    The aurora is still here

    in china are different old ship, but not old such as the Constellation or the Huascar

    I means you have a destroyer post WWII in Dalian, the “Anshan” from Anshan class, back on 1960”

    and then the Kiev in Tienjin and the Minsk in Shenzen

    it looks for me like a non-sense to install both cat and sky jump ?!

    the interest of the VSTOL or STOBAR is them no need cat, and then, they can go almost anywhere flat.

    but if you have allready a carrier fitted with Catapult for the E 2-C, why for God sake not use them for the fighter/bomber ??

    it can be F35, F18, or Rafales

    evens the F35B is cancel or are to expensives, you still have the Rafales or F18 way

    Maybe is a crazy idea, but well, why a F18 or a Rafales cant be launch with a sky jump ?

    I means on the Kuznetzov, the SU27 are stopped with a brake system (i don’y know really how, maybe a cable ?) and when the reactors have full power, the brake give up and the planes go.

    maybe it can be applicable one a Rafale or a F18, put the brak one the crosse normally made for stop the plane when he back on the aircraft carrier ?

    The Indian have made some test for launch a Hawkeye by sky jump
