The incident with the Lightning XM135 is covered very well in the book Out of the Blue along with many other great anecdotes all proceeds to the benevolent fund.
A great read available on Kindle .
Apologies mods if that is advertising but for a worthy cause.

Sorry Peter been working.
The PX is like the OM in OM15 hydraulic fluid in that case oil mineral and 15 is the viscosity if I remember correctly.
Its a spec no.
PX24 is what we sprayed yellow helecopters with after washing them following wet winching.
PX32 is a lot thicker and as the name Waxoyle suggest goes on and becomes a wax sealant which will last a lot longer but add drag.
Whether it will suit your needs I will leave to Anon
Edited just read Anons post, maybe mixing Waxoyle with white spirit is making WD40 but I’m no chemist.

PX32 is the same formula I seem to remember, we blathered the Phantoms at Leeming in it.
PX24 is WD40 equivalent from memory.

If you followed the Twitter feed they diverted to do a flyby at Edinburgh airport which was requested by air traffic. This is why it ended up running slightly late
Having diverted to please them why on earth would they suddenly take a sudden dislike to EMA.
They’ve state themselves they had to decline permission at East Midlands airport.
Such is life.

Not aimed at you mate am with you, The point I should have made in the previous post I think Stephen Grey chooses the frenchman and if that’s how it is I can live with it for the best show in Europe.

In a vain attempt to bring us back on topic, I have beena regular Legends visitor for around 15 years.
I understand where people can be frustrated by our french friend but I have never had a problem getting away from it if I so wish.
I am normally in the friends enclosure and remember being frustrated because the PA wasn’t working.
Stephen Grey has provided us with immense pleasure and deserves our utmost respect.
Be careful what you wish for and carry on squabbling.

Pretty sure the seat would be live.
I think when he realised he was in trouble he was concentrating on the stick.
When he realised the stick was not going to work he was too late for the handle.
Very sad and condolences to all involved.
