steve-do the natives still eat Budgerigars in Australia?
Let’s see. “Tora, tora, tora” about the battle of midway.I think it’s got Henry Fonda. And TOPGUN,obviously.
In black & white,”The frogmen” with Richard Widmark. It’s about the former Underwater Demolition Teams.”Run silent, run deep” with Clark Gable & Burt Lancaster is very good.

An interesting topic. One I often think about.First I plan to set an unbeatable age record. 140 years old,at the very least.Preferrably 150.
First a lying in state for 2 weeks,so I don’t get buried alive & for the family tributes.
Then I’ll be mummified in the best & most efficient way.No expense spared. Then with the Egyptian method of an inner coffin, but made of clear,bullet-proof glass.Next an outer coffin made of gold,in the shape of me.Then another outer coffin made of stone, with my face & image carved on it.
Finally I’ll be stored in a lavishly decorated underground tomb with all my possessions, marked by a mound with a statue of me!!!
Expensive I know, but well worth it for future generations of the family to see a real perfectly preserved mummy!

jacko. There isn’t much information on the internet about the RAF Islanders. From what I’ve found online & in my aircraft magazine, the RAF has 2 Islanders used as the station flight at Northolt. The RAF website claims only 1 aircraft, but according to my magazine there are 2 & they “have been sighted with a comprehensive antenna fit,and are understood to have some kind of classified surveillance role.” The aircraft designations are CC2 & CC2A.
I have found 3 photo’s of it on the internet (distant shots). In my magazine is a close-up of 1 of them.
Do you want the photo’s?
LIKA,thanks very much for the information & extra photo.Photo’s of Islamic Iran aircraft are unbelievably hard to find on the internet,I have only a few. So any that you can share are very much appreciated.

Koj.
The USMC does not use Apaches. They use the Super Cobra attack helicopter. The US Army uses 2 types of Apache. The AH-64A Apache & the AH-64D Apache Longbow.
LIKA are you sure about the first two pictures? Does the IRIAF operate more MIG-21s?
Very nice photo’s.You did quite well. They look professional.
Although not without their own charm,I’m not keen on skinny cats.Especially the pointy face kind.
Now if you had photo’s of the wild Egyptian cats in Rome;with their round, wodgy heads & big chunky bodies: that would be great!
