MIG-21s of the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force (IRIAF)
Possibly captured from Iraq
Iran’s F-5A that they converted to 2 seat F-5B
Probably fake deino. It looks like a modified F-5.They already converted some of their single seat F-5s to 2 seat F-5B versions.
Don’t underestimate them. They have a highly capable aviation industry.
The part of the Indian Ocean between Oman,Yemen & west India, maybe. The sea between the south of Iran & Iraq,Kuwait,Qatar,Bahrain,U.A.E & east Saudi Arabia however,is not.It is always the Persian Gulf.National Geographic magazine tried to re-name it recently. They had to retract & go back to the original name of Persian Gulf, after angry protests & petitions by many Iranians angry at being falsely grouped with Arabs.
Such mistakes come from ignorance (especially by Americans) that Iranians do not speak Arabic & are not even related to Arabs.
“Arabic sea”?? So it’s changed from “Arabian” to “Arabic”? You mean the Indian Ocean.
gnome, decapitation is quite simple. Either an immense brute force can rip a head straight off,or more likely,a very sharp item cutting through the joins of the neck bones.
Maybe a piece of shrapnel or debris did it.

Actually meant to put there is NO “Arabian sea”.Not around Iraq’s coast, anyway. It’s the Persian Gulf.A common mistake,as many people (especially Americans) do not realise that Persians (Iranians) are not Arabs.Even National Geographic magazine, recently had to withdraw its re-naming of the Persian Gulf!
I have a few. I’m still working on them. A WW2 British Supermarine Stranraer & a German (navy?) Tornado fighter. I got the first in an aviation bookshop on Holloway road,North London & the Tornado in a toy department in a London department store (John Lewis).

A naval special operations unit is good, but not on its own.Perhaps the easiest option would be a marine force based on the Iranian or UK model, where it is an integrated branch of the navy & not a separate force, like the US marines.
Specialist support like aviation, medical & field artillery can then be provided by existing units of the military.
Good idea,crazym.I’ll have a look.
If anyone can find any other photo’s of Iranian Orions or any other Iranian aircraft, please share or tell me.
Thanks
The only recent photo I could find of an Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force (IRIAF) P-3F Orion.Operated in support of the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy.
At least there is something to learn from this.We now know to just ask for the police everytime,if there’s an emergency.
