Put simply; it’s just not funny. I waited ages to see a genuinely funny part ( & why it’s hyped so much).
It never came.

Have to agree. There simply is no reason for every Police officer to be armed. The amount of armed crimes is already the minority & where the Police face an armed person, even less.
The shooting of the officers is sad, but not widespread enough to justify the costs & risks of arming every officer. Remember; Britain is NOT America!

I don’t really like it. I watched when it started to see why it was hyped so heavily, but I couldn’t stick with it. After waiting so long to see a funny part, I gave up.
It’s okay if there’s nothing else on; but not worth choosing to watch.

Have to agree. It’s incredibly stupid. If he bruised a boy, so what? If me or my relatives had done something like that when we were at school; we would have got more than a bruise! From our parents.
Just goes to show the result of an un-controlled population expansion. Yesterday’s village idiots & scum criminals are today’s parents! If anyone should be punished, it should be those lazy & criminal scum excuse for parents!

Have to agree with that, steveo. Except maybe on rehabilitation. That should be a part of a prisoner’s time; along with work & basic education.
If I was leader, I would first proclaim myself Comrade Leader & start a massive reform of the state.
On Law & Order:
I would repeal the merger of customs & excise with Inland revenue & give them increased powers of arrest & prosecution & increase their uniformed presence.
The coastguard would become a real Coastguard (armed & with powers of arrest & prosecution), instead of just a coast agency. Too much stuff is smuggled & fishing areas invaded by foreign boats, not too.
Police numbers would be massively increased ( & many more reservists) & they would be removed from such wastes of time & money as form filling & guard duty, to be sent on the streets for uniformed & non-uniformed policing.
The benefits fraud department would become a separate law enforcemet agency with powers of arrest & prosecution.Same as the police.
Rioting & serious public order problems would not be tolerated.If the Police struggle to cope, mounted infantry & military police would be sent in instantly.If needed, other troops as well.
Prison sentences would be made honest.None of that sh*t about cutting sentences in half or less. Causing death by driving would be taken seriously, with the same sentences as manslaughter & murder
On democracy:
The un-elected House of Lords would be either replaced or forced to become democratically elected.
The sponging monarchy would either be replaced with a democratically elected ceremonial head of state, or its ceremonial functions transferred to the democratically elected national government.
Elections would be forced to become properly democratic (as in certain other countries) with separate government & legislature (Parliament) elections.
The country would be officially neutral & only commit troops for genuine reasons such as peace-keeping, foreign aid & self defence.
Also a phased withdrawal from Afghanistan & Iraq;
no aid or co-operation with terrorist,oppressive or un-democratic states like Israel, North Korea, Zimbabwe, Turkemenistan, Arab monarchies, Myanmar etc;
& massive enforcement of environmental protection (supporting sustainable energy, banning hunting & introducing clean-fuelled public transport).

Not what I class as an immigrant; that’s what the media are calling them.

Stupid. There’s alot of talk about immigrants having problems & wanting “respect”. As the saying goes; respect has to be EARNED. Not demanded.
With all the savagery & criminality of the riots, they haven’t even come close to earning it.
Whatever the problems, there is never any excuse for that kind of savage barbarity. The French government should send in troops to back up the police immediately & crack down hard on all the savages & criminals.
