Multitude of aircraft seen over in the direction of Biggin Hill displaying / holding / flying through. Lovely departure by the Sea Vixen this evening 😎

A few photos today showing the Sea Vixen doing a practice display during the afternoon and a some of the aircraft visible this evening from the main road.
I would have included the Apache and Lynx, but I messed up with the focus

I think the practice display at Cosford was cancelled, but the Vulcan did at least one display at Brize Norton according to reports on-line.

A pair of large military helicopters over Lewisham around 5:20pm. Could have been EH-101 Merlin’s.

Puma heading north, away from Biggin Hill about 8:05pm.
Support unit for BBMF or just coincidence?

One of the 32 Squadron legends from those hectic months in the summer of 1940. Never forgotten.
RIP.

I’m sure Ray did a formation flypast with the Red Arrows, with him flying MH434. But the video looks more like one of the BBMF’s PRXIX’s, which would be more in keeping with the anniversary being celebrated.

B25 just south of Horsted Keynes this afternoon heading from East to West, presumably from Holland to Dunsfold.

I think they could be the Hawks the main display jet and spare aircraft as the Typhoons and Red arrows are at Manston. Is the whole BBMF at Biggin or just Phantom of the Ruhr?

Only the Lancaster was on view, in previous years they have put the fighters in a hangar overnight.
It’s a right pain not being able to get into the South Camp anymore, you could always get a clearer look at anything parked on the far side of the central dip.
