Chilean air firce casa 212 disappears
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-14715235 Nato fighter in mid-air collision with Lithuanian plane
Yes a Bae146. It was used apparently for medevac and flying medical supplies to the Nafusa rebels and Misurata, though i would guess it probably transported all kinds of cargo’s. There was reports of an An26 with the tail painted in red black and green also flying the same routes.
Anymore photos would be greatly appreciated, or screenshots from videos.
According to that link, it was believed that a contract was signed for su35’s, if this is true should the aircraft still be delivered providing they were already paid for?

About halfway through this video there is a group of rebels at tripoli airport celebrating the capture of a C130. If anyone has anymore pictures of rebel aircraft could they please post them here. Thanks
What about using the aircraft that the rebels have amassed, overhaul them and keep them in service as quick as possible. They have 2 mig23’s in benina and there was a clip on aljazeera I posted a few months ago on this thread that showed 5 or 6 mig23’s in open storage in misrata while wrecks of burnt out aircraft where removed. Thats the foundations of a decent squadron for air policing duties anyway .

Perhaps he meant in terms of manouverability. I remember reading before that the teen fighters also have an advantage in that regard, but I dont know perhaps that is all bs?
I dont see why this thread should be closed, this thread is about the sea trials of the carrier and the plan thread is regarding news in the same manner that the military aviaton thread deals with new military aviation news, which is actually being misused for fullblown debates from time to time. I say keep this thread and discuss all things regarding the sea trials.

Apaches have joined the fray once again. Also in the video I posted earlier, there are in fact 6migs in open storage.
In this clip it shows the reporter sitting on top of a MiG-23 amongst a line up of 4. They don’t seem damaged but just abandoned as such.
Any update? Has she raised anchor yet?
No levsha, thats an afghan hind, you cash see the afghan roundel on its belly. This photo was taken during the day but the attack occurred during dark and I think it was aljazerra that showed footage of a gunship in the distance at night with tracer rounds being fired at the hotel, open for correction on this one though.
One last link for now, load the video at the start of the article, the nato commander gives his views on the campaign.
