i know they arent as old as some other aircraft but Irelands SA316Alouettes have been in service since 1963 which makes them 43years old!they will continus to fly for at least another3years perhaps as many as 5more years!

The Americans would be stupid to attack Iran!they dont know how any war will go!Iran is not like Iraq they were starved by sanctions!plus their airforce is operational unlike the few planes iraq could muster!

is the pak-fa likely to be as stealthy as the raptor?!

these ships along with a few squadrons of land based mirage2000s whish the aregntine airforce wants, would be able to take the islands!the mirages would overwhealm the defending F3s and a 2battalion sized force could take the islands if directed probably and had the correct support.they could just stock pile supplies then,before a task force could arrive!in a year or two it would be the best ime for them to try and take the islands again because the sea harriers will be completely gone and the only carrier fighter the RN will have would be the GR.MK9 which has no radar and AMRAMM like the sea harrier has!they would be mince meat for any mirage2000!oh and the fleet would be much more vulnerable to attack from argentine aircraft!

irrespective of range the Fulcrum would be the better of the two at least in indian hands!i wouldnt be an expert but i would think that indian pilots are trained to a higher standard than the chinesse!so that is why i believe the fulcrum would win from these two similar aircraft!
