Thanks for sharing. Great pics. Good to see multiple P40s and its been a while since I saw multiple Provosts here in the UK.
Great to hear these are progressing nicely. Can’t understand why they’d want to convert a P40F back to an E model though. The F must be rarer and would/should be more sought after. Still, always glad to hear of more Hawks being restored/rebuilt.
Great pics, love the Hind sequence.
Hawker biplanes, one of my favourites!
I think the Fury Replica, returned to its owners in Belgium. Never got to see that fly although it was living at Old Warden but static in one of their hangers for some months.
Skysport still have the Demon under rebuild, K8203 for a private owner.
Believe there is a further Demon in Australia, as well as the RAAF Museum example.
I read that Aero Vintage have parts of a Hector but do not know how much this amounts to.
It was there when I visited in 1998
My mistake, Just found my pictures of it. Memory must be fading.
Great pics guys. Although I only went last year, I think you’ve made up my mind to put it back on my list to visit again.
I don’t remember seeing the Oxford, do you know if that is a recent addition?
Hi Tony,

Cheers,

I also gave Yeovilton a miss but will be at Biggin tomorrow.
Thanks James. That does take me back. Maybe I’ll share some that I took, once I’ve scanned them in.
I think the London BoB monument is an excellent idea and will be donating to this good cause. We shall remember them.
ex-Swedish Fireflies now at Duxford
Spotted yesterday at Duxford. Two Fireflies in hangar 3, next to the Blenheim so ARCO believed to be involved.
I think Brooklands have or had a forward fuselage which was originally used for pressure testing.
I went to the show on Saturday when the air support was a Yak 52. This had black/white chequered cowling so did a good impression of a Thunderbolt head-on. Difficult to get a picture due to the number of trees.
Hi, the french site you listed says aircraft under restoration, not in storage.
I seem to remember a picture of the P36 in America, in an old issue of Warbirds Worldwide mentioning a european customer, so I believe this is the TFC one.
Finding it hard to keep up with the Spitfires listed in that page, also the P47G for Flying A is news to me.
The Bayliss Spit was at Coningsby last August when I was visiting. I believe it must now be based there or in for some long term work, although it looked complete. It used to be based at Baginton(Coventry) I think.
RE: FW-190 at Manching
I vote for the Hawk 75. There is one under restoration in the U.S. I believe. I remember something about it in an issue of Warbirds Worldwide some time back but have not heard of it since.
