jmc mate stands for JOINT MARITIME Course big exsersie that the royal navy holds up in scotish waters couple of times a year. One of the rare opertuintes for the royal navy to command other countrys units such as the USA. The americans have allways been good contrebuters they sent the enterprise up last year and she was under rn command. The herky birds are there to support the raf units taking part and to act as like MPAs or targets i think.
if im wrong please any one correct me
Thanks for that mate.
Chris
Great shots, may I ask what JMC is?

……..the Nimrod (XV525) is an MR.2: http://www.jetphotos.net/showphotos.php?regsearch=XV252
Thanks for all the comments.
nice shots there who operates eastern airways
It’s leased from Cirrus Airways to fly the NCL-LCY.
By the way, that Nimrod doesn’t look like an MR4 to me. The engines don’t look round enough, and I’m sure there’s a ram air intake on the tail fillet of the MR4.
I agree with you on that,Lance.
Cheers lukey lad and James.
It landed on 07 about 3pm with money onboard, normally happens at this time of year.
………Great shots by the way.
Is the Viking going to operate any flights or is it just siting there for days on end?
Thanks for the comments.
The Balkan is always there isn’t it?!
Every Sunday during the winter.
