‘Carlos’ has history with Russia Today and an apparent gripe with Ukrainian Government. If the posts made on the social media account of Carlos are to be believed then he will be a star witness in any international investigation. Here is ‘Carlos’ giving an interview to the Spanish language version of Russia Today during May 2014.

Someone must be able to recognize this individual even though he is partially obscured?

All very, very strange. The video description has his job down as Air Traffic Control. Was the Twitter feed of Carlos an easy target for a bit of devious hacking by the Pro-Russian brigade that is very active on the internet?

The town is controlled by Ukrainian army.

The location in the footage has been tracked down to Luhansk just like the Ukrainians claimed it to be. Ouch! Looks like the Russians simply took the above claim off social media and ran with it without checking. Maybe Russian Intelligence should start employing some of the internet sleuths to double check their work? 🙂

Putin won’t be happy! Looks like there is going to be some Generals on Putin’s carpet with hats on after this blunder! How many DVD copies of the brief was the Russian Ambassador to Malaysia dishing out along with claiming that the separatists did not have Buk?

It isn’t a logical conclusion in the case of the die-hard conspiracy theorists in these cases though. They know exactly what they are doing and they go looking for it from the outset. Yes my apologies. I got ahead of myself with the idiotic claims of parlay and his ‘chaff’. The muppet term was not about him holding up the toy but his bullish actions, IMHO, in ordering about investigators and observers attempting to gain access to the area. My apologies once again.

Going back to the claims of ‘chaff’ in the video posted by Paralay the cargo manifest has been released. Textiles are listed so you can imagine large fabric rolls streaming down.

Well, this is the problem because it’s really just a claim in the first case. It’s a blog, not an official news channel. There is no proof of time or location. For all anyone knows that video was shot 2 years ago after a military exercise, or it’s a Ukrainian battery.

Of course it is just a claim. I never claimed anything else other than directing you to the video in question. It could be easily disproved by the claimant or others providing photographic proof. The video has been shown enough times on Russia Today so if the woman’s claims are true then it should be only a matter of time before the video is discredited.

Seems to me that it’s more a case of YouTube adopting retarded time stamping policies and people making what would otherwise be logical judgements, were it not for YouTube’s idiocy.

Oh good grief! No it is simply down to die-hard conspiracy loons that use the known time stamp issues for their own conspiracy nut interests. It is the easy option for them and they know it in order to suck people into their click to donate websites and get hits on their videos.

Yes I have seen that so it should be easy for the poster, journalists etc, to take images of the location and match them exactly with the location in the video. Anyone can make such a claim but it needs to be confirmed with photographic proof otherwise it just ends up as yet another counter claim. I checked on the google maps but that area is not covered by ground images.

I gather all the information you like it or not.

But is isn’t ‘information’. It is desperate clutching at straws and you fell for it. The person that created that webpage and went for the chaff theory is clueless so why did you fall for it? Think about it? The separatists control that area so why is this ‘chaff’ not being documented, collected by the separatists, journalists and international observers in the region? The Russians authorities will have been all over this footage and pointing out this ‘chaff’ theory if it had any credibility. Ask yourself why they are not? Also ask yourself why the separatists are not sowing the crash area with this ‘chaff’ that you claim is in the footage?

So here is your chance. Why not contact the Russian Ministry of Defence and inform them that you have ‘smoking gun’ evidence.
