Deino,
It looks like you posted in the wrong thread? Perhaps a Mod can tidy it up?
Your post would make more sense in

Newly released Iranian footage.
As for the treaty.. well one would presume that since the USSR doesnt exsist anymore all these treatys are no longer in use??
New START still covers heavy strategic nuclear bombers. On-site inspections still take place.
During the same time period, the United States exhibited the B-2A heavy bomber and an SSGN Submarine equipped with cruise missiles; and conducted a one-time exhibition to demonstrate that B-1B heavy bombers are no longer capable of employing nuclear armaments.
B-1B Demonstration
Following the U.S. exhibition demonstrating that B-1B heavy bombers are no longer capable of employing nuclear armaments, these aircraft no longer count toward the central Treaty limits regarding deployed heavy bombers.

One good thing that has developed out of the treaty confidence building measures is a bomber exchange programme.
Russian strategic bombers to visit U.S.
Two Russian Tupolev Tu-95MS strategic bombers will fly to the Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana, United States, in 2013 under an agreement reached during a recent visit of senior officers from the Russian Long-Range Air Force to the United States, Long-Range Air Force commander Lt. Gen. Anatoly Zhikharev said on Tuesday. Zhikharev made the announcement at a news conference.
“There will also be a return visit in 2013 – two American [Boeing] B-52 strategic bombers will land at our air force base in Engels, Saratov region, in 2013,” he said. U.S. officers are due to pay an inspection visit to the Russian base next week, he added.

Team members evaluated the suitability of the airfield at Engels Air Base for B-52H operations. The outing also established initial relationships for a long range aviation bomber exchange program between the U.S. and Russia.
The Iranians have released footage claimed to be from the RQ-170. Hard to tell but is it stock UAV footage previously released by the Coalition?
Why English writing regarding the ejection seat warning? Surely it’d be written in Farsi?
Do they even teach English at schools in Iran?
It will be international standard. Some nations apply dual nationality markings. Nothing unusual in Iran applying English stencils. The following have obviously been repainted and the Iranians are still applying English warning stencils.

The conspiracy nuts are going ballistic over this news. Those pesky Russians and their MiG-31s!. Why do the gullible and naive always fall for this nonsense?
Lebanese sources later reported a Russian Mig-31 fighter had crossed over Sinai Wednesday in the direction of Israel. It veered west over the Mediterranean after encountering an Israeli warning not to intrude into its air space and continued flying over Lebanon.

Syria releases images after Israeli air strike
Syrian state television has broadcast images of the site near Damascus hit by Israeli war planes. Syria claims the site was a research centre, while other reports claim the target was a weapons convoy heading from Syria towards Lebanon.

The Syrians are claiming that a Scientific Research Centre was bombed.

Is the site bombed one of the other locations referenced in the International Atomic Energy Agency reports? The IAEA has requested access but has been denied.
The Agency regrets that Syria has not cooperated since June 2008 in connection with the unresolved issues related to the Dair Alzour site and the three other locations allegedly functionally related to it.

Fedaykin,
Thanks for the A-10 images. Some of those I hadn’t seen before.
Part of the damaged engine nacelle from A-10 serial 81-0967 was recovered by Yugoslav forces in Kosovo. The plate on the nacelle wreckage featured as part of a video at the time claiming that the A-10 had been shot down. 662 can be seen in some of the images which is the construction number of 81-0967.
Parts of the engine nacelle used to be on display at Kalemegdan Military Museum, Serbia.
See following showing stills from the video taken in Kosovo during 1999. Note 662 on the plate.

A-10s would be sitting targets with MANPADS in the field
Really? Have you studied where A-10s have been operating during conflicts? In the thick of it during Iraq 1991 and 2003 in high MANPAD threat areas. It didn’t curtail there use even when they took losses and damage. They also operated over Libya and Yugoslavia. Tough old birds able to take considerable combat damage.
AFAIK, neither the F-4 nor the F-5 have seen combat in decades (unless… Kosovo?)
Neither the F-4 or F-5 were used during Allied Force (Yugoslavia 1999). Only the crazy world of Venik, and other conspiracy loons, had German F-4 Phantoms in combat over Yugoslavia. Remnants of a page from Venik’s website can be found at the following link.
U.S. military assists France in African missions
WASHINGTON — U.S. military warplanes assisted French forces battling Islamic extremists in two African countries over the weekend, according to the Pentagon, highlighting the growing threat of al Qaeda-linked terrorists in the region.
The Pentagon and Defense Secretary Leon Panetta would not offer details on the nature of support to French troops in Mali or Somalia.

Any links to the Chemtrail nuts on Facebook discussing the formation? Always worth a laugh. 🙂
I agree it is an excellent programme.
