Thanks.
The markings should be where the outer plyons would be fitted. The pylons swivel so the markings would fit in with the movement range. See the images of the GR.4s.

Nice work, Martin. Like the Hunter top side and the F.3 pair.

I unfortunately haven’t heard anything from him in ages …
He’s probably trying to work out how the Israeli’s managed to retire all the Peace Jack Phantoms? Kfadrat claims that one was lost back in 1982 and obviously doesn’t believe the photos and article by AFM!
Kfadrat wrote
“I stopped buying AFM a year or so ago, the thing just turned into a US/British propaganda tool and is NOT worth the money any more.”
He was obviously not happy when the ‘propaganda tool’ photographed the physical evidence on their retirement?!

Kfadrat keeps promising the images of all those undisclosed Israeli wrecks. Apparently he is still not ready yet!

Garry,
They are not ASCC or even ASIC codes. ASCC only designated FSU and PRC aircraft/helos. Other working parties and groups designate missiles, radars etc. They serve a perfect purpose as a basic reference system without going in-depth and using the nightmare of indigenous designations.
Those designation that you give are only your assumption as to how things should be designated. How do you know that the ATGMs have all not been tied up by the working parties or groups to cover new types and variants? How do you know that suffix or variant designation have not been assigned to tie up perfectly? All you are going on is what you think they are designated.

Some snaps from my backgarden in Ruskington yesterday. Amazing sight and the 16 ship GR.4s was something else!

Did the Blue eagles have the Apache in there team for this years display?
Hi James,
The Apache displayed solo as did the Lynx. The Apache also appeared in the Role Demo. I believe that the Apache was part of the Blue Eagles and flown by the crews listed.

Dora-9,
I’m using a Nikon D2X fitted with a Nikon Nikkor 300mm f/2.8 VR. The images were taken with Nikon 1.4x and 2.0x teleconverters fitted on and off.
On the Saturday I was up near the 03 end just by the private enclosures. On the Sunday I was a bit further down by the commentary box.

😮 There’s not much clearance between MH434 and Ferocious Frankie
Nice pics. I like the head on DC-6.
There is loads of room. The focal length of the lens leads to the illusion of them being closer.
