yeah but if you think that on MAN-EDI its about 40mins an LBA-BFS is what about 35mins? and at 20mins to landing the crew need to secure galleys and the cabin and then take thier seats it only leaves you 10 – 20 mins to do a service, and incorparated into that time is getting released to actually get out of seats. and with bad wheather expecially on the MAN-EDI can get bad in the morning. There is just no point in doing a service.

I think he means they’re axing the service element of the flights – so no Buy On Board etc. rather than cancelling the flights.

thanks Phil atleast sum1 knew what i meant :p

Hi Robertt, I dont think we axing the EDI from MAN, this happened to the LGW a few month back, it wouldnt let you get go any further than october an it said the same thing, operates up until ***** i think its just a re jig of scedule. however we have been told that the service will stop on the EDI an it will be like the LBA-BFS or BFS-BLK it will operae without a service!

Hey Guys!! right lets set you all straight!!! 😀
the 757s are doing ALC and PMI with the odd occasion doin the night IBZ,
but as seen on airliners and planepictures its been in BUD, FAO FCO these all have been because a 737 has gone tech.
however the FAO will be introduced on the 757 soon aswell AGP (apparently) the IBZ will also be introduced on the 757 but NOT as yet!

further news for you regarding our 757s out of MAN, during the winter it will carry on doing FAO AGP and will then be put on the GVA aswell!!

    Hope you find it useful

Sounds great But what i dont get is, how many 767s do they have?
its only one isnt it? well if they are using it as much as what it sounds like, then they will be in trouble if it goes tech because then the whole programme will be messed up?
not to mention they are flyin from both MAN and GLA??

if they get more 767s then that will be ok, does anyone know if they are?

I wish I’d known that bmi were using the 145 on MAN LHR when I had some guy giving me grief that our A320 was ‘too small for a key business route’.

Great pictures and report by the way.

    1L.

i know what you mean, i remember when our LGW was on the 737 and so many would say, god this is small, felt like saying, what where you after a 777!!! LOL

even funnier now its on the BAe146 😛
