I wass struck by lightening during my 2nd week of flyin as cabin crew, we just lifted off from AMS and we saw a large flash in the cabin, then a smell of burning, then the engines sounded to dim then pick back up we checked with the flight deck and was all ok,
when landing back in MAN all was fine bar a small mark on the eyebrow window ledge.
Hotel was in AMS my friend was on it, it went tech there thats all info i have but its back in MAN now

The Jet2.com TFS based will be crewed from Blackpool based Cabin and Flight crews.
if im right in thinking from what i have heard, the BLK cabin crew arent 757 trained as yet, we recived letters in the post last week to say they are dual basing us (man) with blk, although we shouuld do too many flights fro our 2nd base i hve afeeling we will be doin the TFS from there as i said the BLK crew arnt 757 trained (As yet)
rumor has it that we (MAN) are gettin AA so LBA may be gettin AC in replace of AA dont ask me why, that just whats been going round MAN, and then we will get AD, who knows!
I can see that the 146 might be quite well suited to jet2. Am definatly going to try and get on it! Anybody know what the interior is like?
Yeah it has all just been re-fitted just for us, No leather seats though all navy 6 a brest and holds 110 seats, the seats have our headrests on them, not sure about the bins with the Jet2………. stickers dont think it has, new carpet been layed for us and its looks great i was told by our base co-ordinator!!!
It is leased yes from Flightline, an its Based in MAN operating the gatwick, nice, pisa and possibly the rome. ‘Rep flights’ start today as our crew are being trained in the next 4 days
