Quick Question!!
why can the Embraer 145 not get into LCY? surely its simular in size to DASH8400 and Saab 2000? is it just because it hasnt got the steep approach? could the 145 get into LCY?
Regulations are very strict when it comes to Alcohol consumption as crew, as i guess with any job really drinking on the job or being drunk is quite simply not aloud..
Jus dusted off the cobwebs from my manual and it says:
”The Railway and transport safety act 2003n imposes the following restrictions on the use of alcohol and drungs:
It is an offence to perform an ”aviation function” or an ”activity which is ancillary to an aviation function” whilst the ability to perform the function or activity is impaired by drink or drugs. this applies to pre and post flight duties aswell as standbys
The police will have the power to conduct a breathalyser and subsequent blood or urine test when there are reasonable grounds for suspicion that an offence has been committed or following a serious incident or accident
Crew must not consume alcohol for a minimum period of 8hours before standby or reporting for a duty and only in moderation for 24hours before the duty
Crew may not consume alcohol while on standby or at any time during flight duty periods
Crew may not consume alcohol while on duty in uniform or when off duty but in uniform in public places”

Why don’t they wet lease a 767 ?
WHY?? why when our own aircraft can do it? if CO an use a 75 n delta from time to time??? why spend more money wetleasing another companies 767 when we have a 75 to do it?
Well G-LSAI, has had a new Seat concept applied to it for some time now, i think the 1st 5 rows have been given a make over, with new red leather seats, they are less bulky which gives it more leg room (well impression) and i think its these that will be replaced within the Fwd Cabin or atleast 1st 5 rows anyways!

Offline and inflight mode im sure are if not a similar thing. Most airlines say these are not permitted due to the fact that we (as crew) when passengers have on their phones arnt mobile manufactures so dont know what every phone does and doesnt do. there for as a courtesy keep them off completely ..:rolleyes:
I flew last year in the Premium cabin of the 767, it was great, PTVs in each seat, lots of leg room im about 5foot 11 and was so much room!!
im a big fan of monach as it is, but was a great flight, helped by premium:p
not sure on the A/c from DUB could be the A330 as i know they do send it out there time to time!!

Well it landed safely!! nothing unusual really, A/C MD83 came to holt at the end of runway, services inspected the aircraft!!!
very very sad news…… will it be that one day smaller airlines will not exist!! i hope not and i was very shocked to see this news, i would have thought vlm would stay an individual 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁
