Yeah. It’s a press release from: French defence procurement agency – so not only DefenseTalk, Defence-aerospace but other defence news sites may also have the same story.

PAkdef’s credibility is ruined and they are being murdered everywhere for making up stories and then releasing them:

    nice try but miserable:

    http://www.defencetalk.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=498

First of all, those pics were UPLOADED by a MEMBER, not admins or mods.

This matter was settled and we all know it. Go to that thread. Now, pakdef has lost its credibilty and is attacking DT for nothing. Its a cheap shot that will never work.

We plan to delete all pics referenced Pakdef.info.

Even though all pics were marked copyright: pakdef.info. I guess, you have no legs to stand on but to attack matter which your admin settled? lol!!! pakdef.info, it seems doesn’t stand behind stuff which it approved?

Jealous? Why would DT be jealous, DT went out to confirm what Pakdef had published, which turn out to be false and untrue. ADMIT IT!!! DT’s agenda is international defence issues, not PAK, NOT PAF! Its Pakdef/PDF’s job and they seem to be doing a lousy job at it with these made up stories that they publish on their forums ruled by tyrant admins who ban people for not agree with their bull****.

Yeah, we can arrange a conference call. No problem. We were waiting on TIME to tell us and time has proven that these reports that pakdef made up and then reported as nothing but rubbish and are untrue!

Pakdef isn’t a source. Its bunch of retired rich folks with nothing else to do but tour pakistani military facilities and then brag about them on their forums.

They say that all news are true:

    Paf getting gripens,
    Paf buying belgian f16s
    paf buying rafales

Which idiot would believe that? I went there to ask them if they could post SCREEN SHOTs of the news actually published over at forecast intl but i got hostile replies and was banned for disagreeing with the admins.

We must confirm such reports as defence communities want something solid and confirmed report to debate on. These wishful thinking so called “news reports” acredited to national defence news sources is wrong thing to do and DT believes pakdef should apologize to pakistani defence community and defence communities in general for publishing such baseless and inaccurate reports which they did not confirm themselves.

DefenceTalk is an international site and has nothing to do with Pakistan or India. If you note the thread on DT, we were on this news when it first appeared on Pakdef but after calling the forecast international editor, he told that they NEVER published it. So thats when we really went out to say it was not true.

We called Pakobserver ‘s pakistan office and their source was also pakdef info.

PAF may be looking for jets but news was never published at forecast intl.

    press release:

Correction: PAF buying 44 Rafales report is False
    Sep 10, 2004, 12:31
Recently a “news report” appeared on pakdef.info website. A self declared authority on Pakistani defence issues. It sighted forecast international as a source of the report that PAF was buying 44 rafales from France. DefenceTalk.com went out to confirm if such reports were actually published at forecast international.

This might be interesting with more details and denial of such false and fake reports that PAKDEF.INFO published initially:

    http://www.defencetalk.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3018

Pakobserver, also picked it up from pakdef info.

I think, you should read the disclaimer:

The opinions expressed herein contain positions and viewpoints that are not necessarily those of Defencetalk.com.

Its pretty much straight forward! Any opinion posted by a user/member on any website let alone Deftalk is of that individual and website is not responsible for it.

If you have an issue/problem or an opinion about something which is happening on Defensetalk.com please post on our forums and we will address it. If a thread isn’t violating our rules there is no point of not allowing the discussion to go on… if you read the title of that post it says clearly:

Compare capabilities and data – LCA & JF-17

The author (an indian) had totally different and flamatory subject line which was changed/edited to be more diplomatic and user friendly. Either you have problem with discussing such sensitive topics without following the rules or you just lack the required judgements to decide what should be discussed and what should not be. If indians and Pakistanis can discuss such issues and also give each their due respect and right to have an opinion that is a good thing and I am glad its happening on Defencetalk.com.

So, next time before you babble something make sure you have complete understanding of the depth of that issue. Enjoy!

PS: I am amazed that discussions on DefenceTalk.com are effecting sino-indian relations!!! 😎 This type of false allegations from your side only prompt me to ask this: Were you banned from DefenceTalk.com for not following the rules? :p
