I have just had about enough of your anti Islamic BS, suprise , suprise for the Saudi incident you dont provie a source, just hearsay, just like you did for the Pakistani “local court” , needless to say the truth of the Saudi matter may be very, very different and I will probaly find a press report that contridicts you (again!), for someone who does not not provide a single source, or has any knowledge of Islam you sure have a mighty big mouth.
Cant you take your hatred somewhere else, or was the whole purpose of you starting this thread , so you could stir up hatred.
I pray to God someone like you never reproduces…..

I just cannot belive the victimisation Pakistan comes under in this forum….
No single member of this forum posted a single post with regards to the gange-rapes,massacres,torture,mass murder, family burinings that happended in the Indian State of Gujrat in march. The Governer of Gujrat still has his job, no police were fired. 2000 people were massacred, the rape victims go into 1,000s , a report from the British Embassey in Dehli confirmed “state involvement” and the police aiding the rioters and rapists. No one was arrested!

So Sauron’compare this to Pakistan where the supreme Court is now crucifying the chief of Punjab police and several other officers have been fired and they have already made several arrests.
So when you so this is sick “even for Pakistan” I would really try and take a wider look at the world……

You raise a goodpoint, I cannot comment on how the government of Pakistan goes about its education and socila welfare policy. Should we spend less on defence and more on schools!? Yes, of course we should!
In Pakistan the donation of this money and building of this school is looked at the government sort of saying that this girl was very badly treated and we are aware of this. Similar things are done in teh villages of soldier killed in action, it is more s ymbolic gesture rather then standard school building / education policy.

I thought you would know better.

Before you post garbage on the internet I would seriously check your facts.
The Gang Rape was ordered by a “Tribal Council” rather then a “local court”, The Pakistan Army and Police are now tracking down the sickos who did this. Yes, this is a very very bad case, but ti imply that the government of Pakistan was behind the original judgement is wrong and blatantly untrue. The supreme court has ordered the head of Punjab police to appear before it and several senior policemen have been fired, one suspect is already in custody.

I dont know what your motives behind trying to blatantly mislead members of this forum are (you did not even post a source!), I dont really care, you may have a thing against Pakistan and Pakistanis (dumped by a Pakistani girlfriend, angry at a Pakistani boss, or just have a small brain), there are many faults with Pakistan and our justice system is far from perfect, but this can be said of many countries, but next time before you try and denegrate my country check your facts, otherwise you will look even more foolish then what you do now…….

MULTAN, Pakistan (AP) – A suspect in the gang rape of an 18-year-old girl as part of a tribal punishment was arrested Saturday after surrendering to a local newspaper, police said.

Faiz Bakhsh Mastoi was the second man arrested in connection with the June 22 rape in the past two days. Police are searching for two other suspects.

Bakhsh Mastoi went to the office of a local newspaper in Multan, a regional center in Punjab province, and identified himself as one of those wanted in the case.

“I’m surrendering at the newspaper office because I’m afraid that police may kill me in a fake encounter,” Bakhsh Mastoi told reporters.****

Police have been under pressure to capture the rapists after Pakistan’s Supreme Court accused local officers of negligence for failing to arrest them immediately after the crime.

Police said the woman was raped by four men after a tribal council in Meerwala village ordered that her family be punished after her 11-year-old brother was seen walking unchaperoned with a girl from a different tribe.

Police say the tribal verdict was illegal. But Pakistan has a tradition of tribal justice in which crimes or affronts to dignity are punished outside the framework of Pakistani law.

The rape has outraged rights groups, which have demanded an end to punishments by tribal councils. The Pakistan government has given the family $8,000 as compensation and says a school will be built in Meerwala and named for the victim.

The alleged rapists were well known in the village, and several of their relatives have been detained by police to pressure them to surrender to police.

Police said the suspects fled the village after the rape was reported to avoid arrest. The first man arrested was discovered Friday at a friend’s farm in southwestern Baluchistan province.

The victim’s mother, Allah Bachai, said on Saturday that the family had been threatened by relatives of the alleged rapists for reporting the crime.

Pakistan’s Supreme Court has ordered police and local officials to give it updates on the investigation. After criticizing police at a hearing on Friday, the chief justice ordered investigators to return to court July 11 to give a progress report, court officials said.

ISLAMABAD, July 6: Terming the gang-rape incident at Meerwala shocking the Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) said on Saturday that culprits of this heinous crime deserved severest punishment under the Hudood Ordinance.

“This is a shocking incident which has brought disgrace to the whole nation,” said a press release issued here on Saturday.

The culprits of the gang-rape witnessed by a whole crowd, deserved the severest punishment under the Hudood Ordinance, the statement added.

The crime of culprits, abettors of the crime and Panchayat members was unprecedented and deserved severest punishment, the statement said, adding that the perpetrators had openly insulted the injunctions of the holy Quran and deserved an exemplary punishment under Islamic law.-APP

My country being an Islamic Republic which proetects the rights of Christians,Hindus and Muslims. There are not many Islamic country’s where Christians are given help by the government to build churches. I am very proud of this.

I think it took alot of courage posting this. Well done.
I and you both know Palistinians and Pakistanis have their fair share of extremists, murderers and terrorists. Lets not kid ourselves, but my point was, they are ordainary people too! Just like you and me in fact, I even know people from both nations who like nothing better then to go out, have a beer, tell rude jokes and talk about chicks!
We have to remember that every nation has its fair share of wackos, terrorists and extremists.

    Islamic fundementalist in Pakistan
    Christian Fudementalist in the US
    Hindu mobs in Gujrat India
    Jewish settlers in Israel

We have to remember though that teh vast majority of people in these countries have nothing to do, nor want anything to do , with such groups.Terror does not have a nationality.
Disagreeing with people is good, this forum needs healthy debate, what we don’t need is generalisations, sweeping statements and racism.
I am glad you have finally had the courage of your convictions and apologised. You have gone up in my opinion!
