Cameron’s britain 😡
ahhh must keep up never knew that..thanks fellas:)
Cheers Aye ’tis a shame the state they are in:(
Very nice.. been a few good exotic visitors at GLA lately, is this not an Embraer 190 though?
cheers Uzzy 😀
Haha, cheers Dave… it was murky all day in Copenhagen area.
Sandy: Sorry, meant no disrespect… fantastic piece of work you put together there, a clear talent… I was only voicing my own opinion (My eyes like what my eyes see…)
The JAL scheme (on the 767) is certainly not a work of art akin to the Qantas lump etc…, but, i find it pleasing on the eye AND in times of austerity, i’m sure the JAL shareholders will appreciate less money going on a livery..
Funny things liveries IMO, i don’t really see the point (Apart of course from a photogenic view!!) passengers most often don’t even see the outside of their aircraft in most cases and doubt anyone would choose flying one airline over another because the plane looks nicer! That said, as a photographer, i’m glad airlines go to the expense they do 😀
Ahem.. i think you’ll find the picture above is of a McDonnel Douglas DC9 :dev2:
Was going to agree with the above about the 787 drawing i too find cheatlines very retro, wayyyy out of date now.. It seems basic is best nowadays.. i personally find this new livery very refreshing, brilliant to see the Crane back (Would look outstanding on an A380!!),although certainly bland it is a huge improvement on the previous/current livery!
Aye the DHL shots very good….still well done anyway.. keeping the standard flying n that!!
Nice one!.. I just realised yesterday i still havent been to GLA this year yet!!
Well done there.. i have to say, this set is the most depressing set of shots seen in a while!!(Absolutely NO bad comment meant on the quality of the shots), going to Luton airport on a saturday, peeing down from the heavens and just endless Easy and RYR’s.. not even a nice biz jet!! just a Netjets!!… Huge kudos for sticking with it for the hour and a bit!! well done, sir!:)
………After Bordeaux a trip around some GA fields in the Cognac region while there was still some light:
First a friendly little grass field with a couple of hangars called Pons-Avy

Then to Merignac

Finally a couple of wrecks at Cognac:

Thats all from that particular trip… still to start work on BRU,Roskilde, Finkenwerder and a tour of some German GA fields and 2 more French dromes in the north of France to come in other posts.
Thanks for looking.
Thanks Pieter..will look for that.
