Thanks for the comments, guys. I love LCY also, just a shame that the spot where i took most shots is facing into the sun (on a sunny day!!) My only gripe was i’ve been dying to shoot the SAS 146 and the one i get is only partial coloured 😡
    Allen… a very handy abode indeed for 05’s 🙂
talking of all the US stuff that used to frequent, i read today in one of the newsgroups an article in the Scottish Travel Agency News the strongest hint yet that NW will start Detroit -GLA summer 08.

where was the 2nd 3rd shot took from

    peter

    Hi Peter
It’s from the car park at Robinson Park in the Gleniffer Braes (Car park in the sky), was using the 75-300 and 2x converter, on the tripod, but, quite a bit of wind, so very hard to get a steady shot.
Oohhh get you with the D400 :dev2: :dev2: , nice one, enjoy.

    Thanks Lads
James, the second pic is Dundee at saturation :dev2: , a whole 2 aircraft on the ground hehe. Not the busiest place, only commercial it gets is Scotairways, can get some decent biz from time to time, Dundee airport is on the road out of Dundee, so, always take a pop in when passing.
    Cheers Si.
Just wish my boss would give me back my passport south of the border, havent been to an English drome in weeks:mad: (Although, did make it to Southport today, was going to go to MAN for a couple of hours in the evening, but, job took too long  )

PS Why Dont they let you take pictures at CDG? 😮

    James

The Aeroportes de Paris enforce a prefectoral degree, enforced with a fine of 450 Euros for anyone caught shooting without authorisation, this came in about 2 years ago, for no other reason than to cut down the amount of spotters/photographers hanging around fences (the old “security” excuse) basically, a jobs worth thought, “i’ll get some brownie points off my boss by banning photographers” .
Excellent job reproducing the letter,Fabke. FWIW another way around the ban is to join Kerozen association, who have signed a prefectoral agreement with ADP that lets their members carry on about their business.

Excellent set of shots there. Air Lanka standing out especially for me.
9R is used quite a lot for landing when on the 9’s mostly BA and other T4 stuff using it, now seeing something take off on 9L would be a rarity 😀

    Brilliant stuff,Fabke.
Don’t like what they have done with the concorde 😡
Did you not get any Gendarmes with big pointy machine guns chasing you off??:D Are they still issuing the 450 euro fine?

Interesting selection there, Peter. Who was the un-marked German 146 operating for?

    Paul

Paul, FlyBe are using 2 (i think) German 146’s due to late dels of 195’s.
