This sounds a very poor (british rail style) excuse!! A route suspended because of 1 sick aircraft???
OK since none of the high earners at BMI have thought about it…………Fix the sick one, meanwhile lease another to do the sick ones work!!!  (commision charge for this exclusive idea is in the post BMI 😀 )
Thanks Damian and Richard.
This airline is very intriguing, you would think an airline with 2 747-400s based in UK would be a bit more visible?? I can’t find anything about them, not even a website…even airlines that never even got an aircraft had websites!
Watching with anticipation.
Thanks Phil…you’re too kind 😀 😀
Tony: it is a nice looking bird indeed, perhaps in better light and no people scrambling all over her 😡 she would take a fine portrait 🙂

Tartan did you see the BBMF Lanc at Coventry?
JAmes
Can’t say i did,James. unless it was hidden away behind one of the hangars 😮
The fence is disappointing indeed, it was being erected when i visited in february this year, luckily i carry a set of step ladders with me, The fence is well known about btw, almost every DUB post in the past 7 months has mentioned it (i commented at the time that Aer Rianta seem to be getting a bit of the BAA-itis as regards spotting/shooting about them  )
Well done that man!
I totally forgot the 225 was at NEMA today and was (sort of) in the area 😡
Your shot of the 2 Antonovs is great, unbelievable that something can sit next to an AN124 and make it look like a puddle jumper!!! 😀
reports it was a “light aircraft” which appears to have impacted the building and fell to the ground.
Brilliant Lance!!
CAL freighter is smashing (and of course the 8 too)
Wee change of scenery Peter??, Excellent as usual!! Love the AN74,havent seen one in years..get any full frame shots of her??
Excellent stuff, especially the Etihad A345..very nice indeed!
Where is the Esso station?? is it the old closed down petrol station near 09R hold??
Smashing stuff,Iain.
Agree with the others about the BMI…good catch.
Caz, very good!,think it is great, would have liked to have had time to walk further along eastwards, maybe get slightly higher elevation . i was just about opposite the GAT and by the time anything taxied close enough for a full frame shot, the wheels were lost!!,also, if the sun is out ,i guess you’d be shooting at the sun. An excellent place for general spotting though.
Thanks Deano, the El Al is actually my favourite also, out of all the shots i took it got by far the best light, just unfortunately clipped the wingtip out of shot, not one of the shots i took of her was full frame, the one i posted being the best of the bunch.
Thanks for the kind comments everyone.
Cheers guys, Yes Josh its the tate and lyle syrup factory mmm yum 😀
