Thud

The Thud looks like it was a strong tough aircraft. This is the first that I have heard of the hydraulic issues. What was most to its detrement? Was that the only reason other than its almost constant sorties, or it just averages out that way?

Which countries still operate the SU-24? I have always thought of it as a good aircraft. Well respected by NATO.

Using C17’s or AN12 would offer quick and larger reaction in terms of Strategic deployment. Its quite a haul for our C130’s from here to AFghanistan as well as our :http://www.sfu.ca/casr/101-cc150.htm
