I did have two -200, but both were sold about six months ago to a firm in the states unfortunately.

Ejection not seen but heard milliseconds before the crump. Huge fireball upon looking back after turning away when I knew it wasn’t going to make it. Apologies for spelling mistake hands shaking after witnessing yet another accident. **Title corrected**

I feel you are very brave writing publicly on any forum after what was probably such a traumatic time. I think that you where possibly somebody caught in the middle and perhaps possibly a little naive personally.

Anyway this situation, I fear, will appear again and again in another format sooner or later due to the willingness of people to make a quick buck off the backs of others and ****** the consequences, I think the verdict is fairly clear on that.. Mates rates dont last long when things go pear shaped, then you find out who your true friends are and the vultures appear.

To everyone – Get everything in writing and keep things as simple as possible! If it costs a little more, you may benefit in the long run anyway.

Good luck with the Gannet – a particular favourite!

Certainly possible to ship if done properly with Hazardous Goods shipping but very very expensive.

Also believe that Arado 196 where based out of Penang and Singapore just to keep it Aviation related.

Martin, thanks for the info. Info I need is technical stuff about the flying surface actuators.

I may have to make a visit soon, if circumstances allow, to others at Duxford so I may try and squeeze this in as well. Do you have any contact details for the archives, or is it through Lambeth?
