Was this plane an attempt at incorporating little bit of stealth??

The canopy is kind of F-117 “Nighthawkish” while the rear jet exhaust looks strange too (for lowering IR signature perhaps).

Can somebody please enlighten this aviation challenged member of the forum? 😀

Well I found some PAF music videos which have lots of FT-5s and F-6s (J-6) conducting manouvres and stuff.
However the songs are in Urdu language and might be difficult for some of the members here to understand. 😀 😀 (Phantom II I can translate if you want. 😀 )

the 5th video from the top>>> “Hawa Ka Sipahi” (soldier of the air) by Najam Shiraz has the most J-6 exposure in it i think.

4th from the top is nice one with lots of F-16s and stuff.

I am giving the link specially for Phantom II because he seems quite interested in the J-6 and A-5 aircrafts.

PAF_fan is right. The first Mirage is a Mirage V PA 2 (or 3) assigned to the 8th squadron in Karachi. The picture was taken way before ROSE (Retrofit of Strike Element) was implemented. Even the second picture looks old, but I am not sure about it.

Anyways, visually some of the ROSE planes can be distinguished by the presence of a FLIR housing under the chin of the aircraft. But then again not all ROSE planes have that so can’t be certain.
