Could well be the case, PAF Fan: the “shopping list” drawn-up during 2002 (ie for FY 2003 and onwards delivery) is a LOT bigger than I thought it would be and doesn’t specifically mention any AH-1 parts (although the T53 engine is common to both Hueys and Cobras) so maybe there were no shortages by that time. The FMS list for 2003 deliveries will be a lot larger than the $2.5 million of 2002 if most of these were authorized:

06/20/02 061-02 Pakistan C-130 aircraft parts

Thanks for the list Steve. Cheers.
Very nice.
Second one is awesome.:D
Who’s Anna??
Who’s Anna??
Sigh……good grief. The Q-5 can carry a decent warload, but it can’t carry anything even close to a MOAB, which is a 21,000-lb. weapon. The max load of the Q-5 is about 5,510-lbs.
I think he got a little carried away. 😀
What is that thing on the nose cone?? yeah that black one on the left side.
😀
Sad. Any cause stated yet Indrac????
Ok what the hell happened to the nose of this Q-5:
And now that the F-7 PGs can deliver Laser Guided bombs (PGMs) I think maybe the A-5 will be nearing its end. But I think if the F-7 PGs still need another aircraft for the illumination of the target then it will not be much good in battle. Or probably some soldier on the ground can illuminate the target. Well I’m confused.
I hope they scrap those buggers.:D
Cozic, what about this one ?
😀 😀 😀 😀 Nice one!
Let’s just hope this bird will never be launched on strike missions against targets situated in densely populated areas…
Sadly that will probably be the first mission it will conduct. 😡

I think the 407s are slightly too big for scouting! Surely they would be better used for light utility!? A 206 (like Kiwoa Warrior) is ideal though….
So then why did Pakistan order 40 407s????? I’m getting confused.

Does anyone know how many Bell 206s are assigned to each Cobra sqd!? Also, if we are getting more Cobras, are we ordering extra Bell 206s to scout for them!?
No idea. Should be 1 or 2 I guess.
