I nearly went to this one, as I’m originally from the area.
Two things put me off though, the weather and Cowes week.

Looks like there was plenty of room on the crowdline.
Is it an annual event or just a one off?

I’ve only been once and that was last year and it was a scorcher of a day.

Is it the flying display itself that you think is badly organised? The display director is very experienced and has run many airshows.

Well, to be fair, every time I’ve been the weather was awful, so a lot of aircraft never arrived.

Does anybody have any further information about this airshow as their official website is still rather out of date.

Weather doesn’t look too promising at the moment, still worth a visit?

I’ve been three times….not bothering this year.

Too many people as its a freebie, (Although Pakefield Cliffs not usually too bad).

Very badly organised display.

My efforts so far…..

Well these are my best efforts this year so far, but I don’t think any are particularly good. The first though has poppy’s stuck along the bomb bay doors and tail wheel, arriving back at Duxford after the drop over the Mall

Cracking shots! They are all my favourites, but partcularly like the Apache – shot with flare :p – and the “Team Agullia Aviojets crossing.. Well done! Any more?

Looks like he’s shooting into the light, too……

I thought he’s probably just a beginner…. :rolleyes:

I think the lens is a 500mm prime?? First time I’ve seen one at an airshow.
