Also kept veering to the left of the road,

My instructor told me to use the top of the steering wheel as a aid to tell you how well you are staying in lane. If the steering wheel lines up between the centre white line and the centre of your lane your doing OK.

The final showdown between Al Pacino and Robert De Niro in ”Heat”.

The bit in ”The Matrix Revolutions” when Neo confronts the Machines and the spikey leader Machine says ‘SPEAK!’.

The self-destruction of the USS Enterprise in ”Star Trek – The Search for Spock”.

Don’t you just hate it when…

You’ve been taking ages doing something and near the end you think of a quicker way to do it.

hello all new to the board,
i can recall the man-pod being used in a “james bond” film, cant remember the name on the movie, but they used it to get a russian defecter out, think it was a t.dalton film, seem to recall some good shots of the harrier flying over the berlin wall,

Your thinking of ”The Living Daylights” but I think the defector escaped in the back seat of a Harrier trainer, he was put in a pod that travelled through a gas pipeline though.

The S-80 is a very attractive aircraft, it reminds me of the Bronco COIN aircraft.

It looks a lot like the Advanced Technology Tactical Transport (ATTT) proof-of-concept demonstrator too. http://www.scaled.com/projects/ATTT.html

The clutch is the scariest part for me, going to be up all night wetting myself incase i break the car!

I took my lessons with BSM and had a go on a simulator first which is pretty good for learning the clutch and gear controls. I’d also say that riding a bicycle (on the road) helps a lot with your road sense, when your used to cars trying to bugger you up on a bike you feel a lot safer in car 🙂

Don’t worry about feeling nervous, I always needed a big poo 5 minutes before the instructor was due to arrive but relaxed OK when I got behind the wheel.
