Nice model by LOUIS TURGEON, I have seen a artist impression of Sea Apache with wing tip mounted undercarriage, similar to the Harrier, which would have improved deck stability.

i dont think they’re fast enough for modern SSNs. u need to be able to do way above 35kt to do effective ASW. hmm, i imagine an enormous zeppelin shooting out sonobuoys and with a big MAD tail! honestly AEW is a much more realistic role.

Skycat can cruise at 75 knots, and would be able to carry alot of ASW equipment.
And if thats not good enough maybe they could update this idea and carry S-3 Viking type aircraft.

According to this information IN only has 17 Sea Harriers, so they could probably break up a attack if it was detected early enough, but it’s very doubtful they could prevent all the Mirages getting through. Viraats escorts will have to handle these.
