Thanks! Quite a random collection of aircraft they’ve got there.

Has anyone got any photos of ZH809 and ZD991 out in Greece? I’ve never been able to find photos of them!

    not at Hanningfields

I haven’t been down there in a couple of months, but it seems as though Hanningfields has closed now?

Isn’t it a scale model too?

The VC10 was definitely on another flyer!

High performance cars vs fast jet races is interesting – the Honda BTCC team are at Brunty at the moment..

    XD826 Vickers Valiant BK1 (N)

Wouldn’t that be like hens teeth? so rare it must be almost invaluable. I understood all Valiants were destroyed.

Only one complete Vailiant remains and that’s at RAFM Cosford. Three nose sections (including XD826) and another cockpit section remain.

I was always under impression that information on the collection has intentionally been made hard to come by as the owner doesn’t particularly want a lot of visitors.

Any idea whether Lotus will be running at DX over the weekend? What drivers have they brought with them?

I’m really looking forward to this! Sky Sports F1 commentator David Croft will also be voicing one of the characters in the film too.

Thanks all. That sunset light was lovely, much more visually stimulating than the sun-set night sky.

Sally-B is on the Shoreham participation list, so I’d take that as they are taking show bookings! 🙂

At least if they can salvage spares from the airframe it could help the likes of the Brunty, Binbrook and Cranfield Lightnings in taxiable condition. Although saying that I don’t specifically know what aircraft are going to be recieving ZF580’s parts.

Canberra XH134 will be a highlight for me too, as would WK163 if it returns to the circuit this year.
I’m very keen to see the return of the Sea Vixen and Sabre to UK skies as well.

However, I reckon my other highlights will be the Phantom formations at Wittmund, the SwAF Historic Flight at Gothenburg and the Russian Knights at Kecskemet.
