A great gesture. Now I am getting towards the end of my ppl and I love being up in the air, especially flying solo. I am also a bit of an enthusiast( my wife says anorak) but I have no real interest in numbers and serials, I just like to watch aeroplanes(preferably vintage) fly.
When at Leicester for a lesson I usually have my camera with me just in case anything interesting turns up.
If anyone asked me if I fancied a jolly then I’d be in like a shot and also offer to share costs( HINT).

In darts,23 is the lowest score that CANNOT be scored with one dart.
Yes, I have been watching the darts this afternoon.

This is certainly something I’d be interested in too.
I know that Transair pilot shop sell a video of the Marlboro aerobatic team but its a bit pricey for a video, I think its somewhere around the £20 mark.

Thats a shame, I really like the current scheme.
I suppose its been a few years now so maybe worth a change. Better get loadsa pics this year then.

The only time I think I’ve actually seen a Belfast fly was when the one at Cosford landed there in 1978, I was aged 5.
It flew right over our house while in the circuit to land and looked huge compared to the Bulddogs that we would normally see, wish I had some photos.

Leicester has good facilities and decent food and has a good atmosphere.
If another venue is decided on then should hopefully have my ppl fairly soon so I could attend my first fly in as a pilot.

Merry Christmas everyone, lets hope for lots of safe aviating in 2006.
